I see a lot of these videos with people buying so many processed foods because that are cheap. I am glad to see someone making recipes with as much whole foods as possible. Respect.
We used to make sure we had every food group, high protein, lots of veggies but it is no longer possible for us. We can hardly afford food for the month anymore. Our taxes have skyrocketed and so has our home insurance. Things don’t change soon idk what we’re gonna do.
You can buy boillon cubes and make your own chicken broth or beef broth. If you add flour you end up with a gravy . Plus you can make it numerous times not just once like with cartons
Tip my dad used to do so if you check normally every so often all the grocery shops have a big discount section I wait till then to Stock up mostly on meats and just freeze them put it this way 1 shop of frozen meats lasted a full months worth of dinners for about £20-25
Sometimes you need to stockpile for the season. When its about to be blizzard weather, stock up on frozen meats. If you find a deal, take advantage of it.
the 10 pound bag of potatoes at aldi is cheaper than the 5 lb bag of potatoes at walmart here. This video is probably before food was crazy idk. Its getting so hard to keep up.
Good mix of food. For 11 more bucks I would've got carrots for 1st man and made goulash ( ground beef tomatoes elbow pasta) and salad mix. That would be 5 separate dinners 6 nights of meals, each having veggies, for $35 for 3 people.
Compare the prices between stores, which can be done somewhat reliably online. Aldi is almost always my go-to for produce and frozen veggies. Dairy really depends on what the sales are like, and meat is also generally just whatever is on sale or what I see on markdown that week. I usually end up checking 2-4 different local grocery stores (since I'm lucky enough to be spoiled for choice). My favorites are Aldi and Kroger.
I place all of my fresh produce into the cart and bag it into produce bags when I'm in line (our lines are notoriously long)Everything gets washed and wiped down (including packaged foods) when I arrive home from shopping.
@@salveaseSo you trap the germs in a bag? You do realize everyone and their grandmother has touched those vegetables right? It's actually more sanitary to put it in the cart and clean it when you get home like a normal human being.

Girl no one give af if it’s processed, people need to feed their families how they can
where i live that bacon and chicken alone will be $25
Ijs tho 😂😅😢 i just said i wish we had those prices
Same
Same here. This whole thing nearly 200$ for us
I sure was about to ask where she live because them potatoes and heavy whipping cream would’ve been 10 dollars where I live also😂
She’s definitely not in Cali 😂

Yeah in my city that’s not possible. I wish it was though, I truly do. Those prices look amazing.
Finally someone who shows not only what they’re buying but also what they’re making with it. 👏🏾
In Canada that entire cart of food is worth 60+ dollars
in Barbados it's way more.
Yea I was gonna say how is it so cheap for her lmao there’s no point in doin that here in Canada
Respectfully in nyc that would cost me 50 bucks lol
I seem to never find cheap foods can't even go to dollar tree anymore for stuff because it's all over $3 and good stuff is $5
Nice but I think the eggs and heavy whipping cream are cheaper at Aldi
Tip my dad used to do so if you check normally every so often all the grocery shops have a big discount section I wait till then to Stock up mostly on meats and just freeze them put it this way 1 shop of frozen meats lasted a full months worth of dinners for about £20-25
Great strategy. Good cooking. Great to see
ALL that stuff in the 2nd cart for like $10? Must be nice.
Chicken itself where I live is close to $20😭
Thank you for sharing -- meal ideas for cheap 🟢
Thank you for watching!
That’s a great menu for the price!
Nice work Amy.
Thank you!

Thank you!

Awesome 😂😂😂
I would buy flour, yeast, eggs, and baking powder to make the bread. Rice instead of pasta. Whatever is left on gas
Where am I getting any of that cheap? I’m about to head to Walmart myself right now, all that is way more than that!
the impressive thing here is that she actually gets her toddler to eat the same things as the adults do
yall i think she got a bunch of coupons but idk
Come to nz that first trolleys 100 dollars
How do you decide what you are buying at Walmart vs Aldi

No state tax also makes a difference
Most states don't tax groceries/food.
Where im at that first basket is at least $40 and the second at least $20
I would eat all of that by myself in one meal.
This costs 200$ where I live in
Cali has entered the chat..
25 bucks? More like 100😂😂😂 hell nah wtf
I'm on a $30 per month food allowance. No air fryer or food processor. Any suggestions?
So you’re on a dollar a day food budget lol… Levi’s to you would be to eat soup in Rahman and then fast for the other 15 days of the month lol
Rice, beans, onions, potatoes, eggs, canned tuna or salmon, vegetable oil and a bag of flour. And use the food pantry.
This must be in Kansas…. Because in California chicken and bacon would cost the $25 budget in 2024…
Lucky man! Thats a keeper.
Everything is so damn expensive bruh in nyc 🤦♂️
I live in Washington, and the chicken alone would cost $10
This is actually impressive
I need to know how you made the stuff
I explain it all in my video here! ua-cam.com/video/O9EGIrG3T8Y/v-deo.htmlsi=Me95U54B8LJ_Cmo3
This would totally be around 130 canadian no joke.
If only in California 😢
Damn where do you live where a can of green beans is 54 cents!?
Where you at I saw walmart and just knew $50 dollars ain't nooooooooo way that's what I just saw.
Rather get 5 of those 1 dollar bread loafs then spend $3-4 on one processed loaf in the Aisle
This was before Covid right?
It was 2022
yea looks like the wife and kid are going hungry coz thats just enough for me.
i wouldn't waste money buying broth if I'm on a budget.
1 pack of meat here is 15$ in california
If my kids were younger they would eat less and I would have left overs but now they are teenagers and they eat alot.😂😂
First 3 items already hit $25
That’s why this was from 2022 prices have skyrocketed since then we now support migrants in America😂
Wtf that woulda been 60$
Here that would be about 50 to 60 bucks right there.
Ain't no seconds or taking food to lunch
What this whould atleast cost me 100 dollars
Mfffff whereeeeeeeee lmaoooo that loaf of bread would’ve been 8-9$
And you paid .91 for those eggs. Yup this is not real
not now in this economy
No
I'm not judging... but I've noticed people shop for dinner everyday rather then just buying there meal preps for a whole week ... ?
You saw this on UA-cam because I did this for a video.
GAY
Did you really just put vegetables on a dirty store cart?😢
Yes, Pittman Family
It was just easier to show us what she got. I'm sure she washed them.
@@cleo5050 yes you got it!

In Toronto Canada that would of cost 100 bucks
