"That is why I enjoy having a portfolio-coach guide my day-to-day market decisions, because their entire skill set is built around going long and short at the same time, both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, and when combined with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's nearly impossible not to outperform. I've been using a portfolio coach for over two years and have made over a million and fifty-seven thousand dollars"
How can one find a verifiable financial planner? I would not mind looking up the professional that helped you. I will be retiring in two years and I might need some management on my much larger portfolio. Don't want to take any chances.
You forgot the most important of the high income skills: marketing. Without being able to market yourself to businesses you can be a genius in all of these other skills but you won't even be seen; you have to be able to put yourself out there first.
@ZaidKhan-pb3ht that's true but it's not the kind of marketing I mean. Sure you can make killer texts to convince people to buy that product. But if you don't market that to the companies that want to sell the product; you're not going to have any customers. The most important skill will always be; being able to find and convince your customers that they need to spend money on you, whether that is a company or an individual.

True. My portfolio was diversified across several markets with the help of a financial planner, and were able to achieve over a million in net profit among high dividend yield equities, ETFs, and bonds. It is vital that you have a variety of exposure, including in firms that are currently generating cash flows.

Having the skills is important… but more important, you've to be able to sell them… and before that, the most important is to be able to find clients/prospects. I would love to ear you on that. Especially when you start from zero (no background, no portfolio, no network, no audience). …And if you don't want to spend years building that as this is not at all what you want to do, if it must be just a quick temporary way of getting money (assuming you have the skills).

I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Charlotte Miller.
She is my family's personal broker and also a personal broker in many families I'm United States, she's a licensed broker and a FINRA AGENT in United states
I'm surprised that you just mentioned and recommended Charlotte Miller, I met her at a conference in 2018 and we have been working together ever since.
it is crazy to me that nowadays you can learn all those skills while you are still going to school. just the fact that you can make lots of money with something you just picked up from youtube! what a time to be a young person. i spent the last years learning fashion design, web development and coding, but as a person in my 40s people find it harder to believe that i am good at something i just learned.
IT may not be the best industry to get into given the layoffs and firings. WFH is going away and RTO is mandatory for most new jobs. Ever tried a medium or hard leetcode because your interviewer is 100% going to ask you random questions they found on that site. No one is paying for copywriting with GPT4 and ClaudeAI. Maybe they have 1 person who's paid to look over the outputs.
I definitely feel like people don't talk about how you can teach yourself skills and actually be successful with customers. I feel like there is a pressure that tells us we can only use and tell people we know something when we have gone to college for it only. I love how this channel has really opened my eyes on the fact that I can continue to learn things even without certificates or degrees and still be successful. Sometimes I feel like it's cheating, but in life it is actually okay to say you know something when you have taught yourself. Too many of us struggle with imposter syndrome which is truly sad and many wonderful people out there can't do what they truly want simply because they think they are not good enough.
I had my own business communications company when I was in my 20s. I worked with small businesses in my area, writing annual reports, etc. Then, somehow, I got hooked up with a marketing agency that had some large business-to-business clients. He subcontracted a job to me from an international wall coverings company that sold to firms that built high rises, luxury hotels, resorts. They had a product line of 40 wall coverings, each with three color ways. My job was to come up with names for all of that. OH MY GOD! The money I made for just coming up with names for a bunch of wallpaper! It took me, maybe 15 to 20 hours, and I made a small fortune.
My question would be, how do you build skills while you're struggling to meet your daily needs. I'm a college dropout (I have 117 credits and I plan to finish) and right now, my rent alone is 60% of my income and that's the cheapest I could find within commute distance of my job. Luckily, I have affordable housing lined up but for the past few years, affording to take care of myself has been such a struggle that I don't feel like I have the bandwidth to branch out and do anything else. I've tried to teach myself various skills like music production, coding, graphic design, marketing, writing etc. because those are things that actually excite me but literally just surviving takes up so much of my attention that I haven't made very much progress on any of those skills. I know you'll probably say that I should focus on one skill. I will try to bunker down but I have ADHD and that makes it hard to stay interested/motivated in a single topic consistently. Whenever things get hard financially, which is typically once per quarter, I find that any type of attention I have for gaining skills goes out the window. It's already hard enough for me to keep up with daily chores, like groceries, cooking, laundry, and cleaning. I'm working to make these things routine but the ADHD makes it very draining to do chores. What would be your suggestion for balancing all these things in a way that gives me a decent level of progress and feedback which I definitely need to stay motivated.
Yeah that's the problem here with these videos... They only work for people who are kinda comfortable already.. if u have a disabled/sick person to take care of, or a debilitating illness whether physical or mental, or even living in not a first world country you can't apply them well.. but still, u have to try instead of complaining

Ali, your video is great but I fail to see how any of this is relevant. All the people you mentioned are almost pre-AI/market saturation so they were already at an advantage when they started. I also found it interesting that one of the high income skills you mentioned was web design/building while being sponsored by a platform that builds your own website without you needing to code. I usually love your videos but there’s a fine line between putting out content that’s actually relevant and helpful vs just putting out content.
Sadly Architects is a low income skill! Especially architects with less than 5 years of experience. Simply there are too many (young) architects and not enough quality buildings being development. So when you are choosing something choose a career/degree that the median's income and lifestyle is what you want and need. Don't look at the top 1% and the glitz and glamour like how I did, thinking it will be different for me. Although I love architecture design, but I hate the profession. So now I'm actually leaving the profession in pursuit of finding something that fits my current lifestyle and financial needs. Likely for me, there are tons of "new school" in demand jobs and roles that weren't available when I was choosing my university degree. The area of entry is not as hard as a full bachelor and master degree like how it is in "old school" professions. I see plenty of opportunities, you just have to be flexible and look at the market and what it needs. Edit: I just finished the video and funny thing I'm already taking courses to become a UX/Product designer, which is not so hard to switch from architecture giving my intensive design mindset and skills. I love design, business and tech and UX/Product design combines these! I know already plenty of my classmates who switched to Digital product design and they have never been happier! :D

Most of the time, we dont value the skill we already have because we didnt know what skill we already have.
I casually started this video and it was in my native language german wooooow... I didnt expect that for sure! Super cool you implemented it. Just wanted to let you know that the voice track sounds pretty normal but at the same time its quite emotionless and not like a real human would speak.
@aliabdaal in this sense of AI where does one stand in competition especially with web development or tech skills?

As an investing enthusiast, I often wonder how top level investors are able to become millionaires off investing. I do have a significant amount of capital that is required to start up but I have no idea what strategies and direction I need to approach to help me make decent returns.
proper research, good analysis and luck is what you need to make profit in this constant market decline.
it's all about finding the right moment to take advantage of and generate colossal profit, which is why you need to do your research
Best thing is to carry out extensive research and be on top of current events. Know how current events can alter share prices and apply logic over your emotions. This is what worked for me. Best of luck
Copywriting is a form of marketing
Copywriting is digital marketing
@ZaidKhan-pb3ht that's true but it's not the kind of marketing I mean.
Sure you can make killer texts to convince people to buy that product. But if you don't market that to the companies that want to sell the product; you're not going to have any customers.
The most important skill will always be; being able to find and convince your customers that they need to spend money on you, whether that is a company or an individual.

Everybody has erred at some point. It's wise that you think about financial planning.

Can I ask how do you find clients and everything that you said 😊

It took me, maybe 15 to 20 hours, and I made a small fortune.
somehow?
@@gorkis643 I guess that’s my way of saying “I don’t exactly remember how.”
@@kjmav10135 okayyy thank youu i just found it really interesting sorry♥️
Everything will be good brother just keep trusting yourself and God (Allah) .

The difficult part is how to land clients.
@felixluk3167 He has a video called “How to make 10k per month as a student” where he goes through that.
I usually love your videos but there’s a fine line between putting out content that’s actually relevant and helpful vs just putting out content.
you're right! you haven't received any value from this!
But how do you get customers having zero experience ?
28:22 coding has changed my life in a two-year period since I decided to go full-time doing. I have been earning money as a dev for more than 10 years.
