Super passionate taking flagging to another simpler level and make sure everyone knows their job is to make sure no one gets hit FIRST, directing oncoming riders away from the side of the track they are on. Flaggers should not be running across track to another section of the track, should also not be running right out onto the track to help someone up. Only should be helping them up once they are sure everyone has passed but the track medic should be there before then anyways.
Most tracks are so tight on money these days that they hire locals. They don't get much training. Are paid low wages. And really just don't care. If flagging was a more desirable job, they would care to do a better job
That's really all I think it is. The real issue comes in on the national events. Those people can Definitely do better for us. I recently flagged the ATV Pro Motocross event this summer here in IL and it wasn't much better, but we all did a good job unlike early in the year with Pro MX events. I 100% get it with local small tracks though (as far as pay).
@Zulululu4x even the Pro Nationals. They just hire friend/locals and give them free tickets or dirt cheap pay. Mxsports is making BANK of these Nationals but not paying for good floggers. ITS a shame
I Must know other people's thoughts on flagging! Thanks for watching
Flaggers need to be taken care of.... period
