Victor K Actually yes. In a worse case scenario they can declare the game dead, or simply play on a closed court (no live audience allowed). It's no different than basketball, where the ref has the authority to declare an entire game over if the audience gets out of hand.
Yes, couldn't he threaten the offending audience member to be thrown out if they shout again? It would be easy to identify them, with the help of others sitting near them.
I know this comment is 5 years old, but he didn't give a warning because in all likelihood this was the last game of the match. There was no need to make a bigger deal and give the idiot spectator more attention.
she probably was close to the courts microphones. Fun fact thats whyy every shot from a tennis player sounds so nice becouse of the microphones. Sorry for responding so late :)
It is hard to actually take any notice of Ashley seen as he has(or she) written the sentence like a 3 year old . Capitals for a name or place and it is "would have " So i think we can all agree Ashley is a moron for her/his comments and his shit grammar .
Jacob Anderson Getting what you call an "unfair" advantage *is not cheating if you did not break the rules.* If the rules give him the option to take the point, he's not cheating, regardless of whether you deem it fair or not.
why would it be andys point? It was him who stopped the play (obviously cause of the person screaming out). Not blaming andy for stopping but Im curious about the umpires reasoning that it is andys point and that he got the last say on wether the point should be replayed or not. Rublev continued playing and hit his ball in, while andy stopped. So how is it normally andys point as the umpire suggested?
Besides the fact that we can't see the ball back in, Murray stopped the point so in any case he should be given that point. The right decision was to replay the point though.
Someone from the crowd called the Murray's serve "OUT" , which was clearly 'IN'. Both the players were confused and stopped playing. But, in the end, Murray is the one who hit the ball into the opponent's half and Rublev didn't hit the ball back. So, technically it's Murray's point. But since there was a distraction from the crowd, the referee asked Murray to have the final say and he agreed to replay the point.
3 years late to the party, but after the OUT call, Andy reflexively batted the ball back and it landed in. Rublev then didn't hit it. Therefore technically Andy's point, which is why the ump asked him if he minded replaying it
The umpire was wrong here it was either rublevs point or a replay, andy did hit the ball in but what did after was hindrance, he acted like the point is over.
They replayed the point and it’s not hindrance because both thought it was a line judge and when a line judge makes the call the players have to stop playing the point
@@michaele7636 that wasnt even my point. My point was it was never going to be andy’s point. I know that they replayed. And it was indeed hindrance from the crowd that’s why they replayed. If it was a call from the linesman they wouldn’t have replayed the point murray would have lost the serve.
I agree the crowd did hindrance. A replay of the point would have been the correct call from Pascal, unless murray wanna give the point to Rublev. But why would murray wanna give it? Murray's serve was clearly in.
"Normally is his point" wtf??? These stupid umpires are so recked. Murray obviously stopped playing and that should be hindrance (ofc I understand his behaviour, I m talking about umpires explanation)
Kalmykhangook when Andy last hit the ball casually it might ended back to the Rublev's court. So either it would have been Andy's point or should have been replayed.
Kalmykhangook a player stoping during a point is 100% not a point for hindrance. Hindrance is only when you do something like shout as the other player is hitting it to distract them. If this was hindrance then anytime a player gives up on a point because the other player has a clear winner (for example an overhead volley right next to the net), but somehow happens to miss, it would still be their point because the other player had stopped playing. I hope this clarifies it for you as to why this isn’t a hindrance point. I do believe however that it was correct for the point to be replayed
but the umpire started speaking before Rublev could hit another shot...If this was a critical point, it would have been very controversial one as it almost certainly should have been replayed in theory as well
Andy Murray, a bit over dramatic about it, I do not believe for a second he couldn't tell the difference between a mans voice and a woman shouting, he looked like a douchebag, it was obvious it was from the crowd ffs
Tennis is so obnoxious that they make the crowd keep quiet lmao. It's fucking sports and you're earning millions. Players in other sports still somehow manage to concentrate with chanting and crowd noise going on 🤔
Footballers manage to concentrate with a big crowd on set pieces and penalties. Darts players where it's all concentration manage to concentrate with a very loud croud, it's just lame to have a quiet crowd for live sport
it was Sharapova
Omg lool
Not funny at all
Very funny at all
LMAO.
On an outside court ...
Handled well by both players but why didn't the ref give the crowd at least a warning?
Ridiculous.
warning about what? Is he going to end the game? pfff
Victor K Actually yes. In a worse case scenario they can declare the game dead, or simply play on a closed court (no live audience allowed). It's no different than basketball, where the ref has the authority to declare an entire game over if the audience gets out of hand.

Mark: Hey Jenna bet you won't call out really loud on Murrays serve.
Jenna: Ok, what's the bet?
Mark: I'll get you free Chipotle
Jenna: OUT
LOLOLOLOLOL
Fabresque lol
LMAOO
A. Thunder we don’t have chipotle here
we dont have chipotle here
whoever that person is in the crowd needs a job as a linesmen! but why the hell did her voice sound like it was on court?
tony machaveli she got the call wrong though...
I know I was taking the piss!
yeah but I think she's done it on purpose
Wol Ryung So I do.
she probably was close to the courts microphones. Fun fact thats whyy every shot from a tennis player sounds so nice becouse of the microphones. Sorry for responding so late :)
- Why is it my point ?
- Because you put the ball in.
- Did I ?
@Tom R after rublev returned it, Murray hit it back over again
@tomr6955 he's one of the best umpires in the game of tennis.
"Andy, Andy come" gets me every time. Trying to explain where the call came from like he's a kid.
I knew Andy's voice was that high.
“It was well done” It was very well done” ye apart from the fact it was miles in...
0:05 - Put the automatic subtitles
"somewhere bitch, absolutely wizard" xD
When you come back to this video after years and you realise that is RUBLEV! And now you know him!
Never made it to a semi-final of a grandslam, so what about him?
That woman's got the bravery to breach audience rules.
The bravery or the lack of respect towards the players?
She's a coward, I mean do you think she's ever gonna be caught? No, that's why she did it
skin*
I'm gonna be honest, that made me laugh a bit. What an asshole, but it was kinda funny. Second time I would've got pissed.
It sounded more to me like a prepubescent boy which is more likely.
doubt andy woulda opted to replay had he been down 2 sets and 2 breaks.
Ashley Montana would you do that in same condition. No one would do that. It wasn't his mistake.
I would replay the point, why on earth wouldn’t you. Knowingly gaining an unfair advantage is cheating.
It is hard to actually take any notice of Ashley seen as he has(or she) written the sentence like a 3 year old . Capitals for a name or place and it is "would have " So i think we can all agree Ashley is a moron for her/his comments and his shit grammar .
FreezinFury Ironic.

Good decision - good sportsmanship !
2 sets and 5-2 makes sportsmanship easier.
@Tom R No you're in fact wrong if you listened to the clip. Murray hit Rublev's return back into the court so it would be Murray's point.
Looking at the score .. how times change
I clicked this as I was binge watching Impractical jokers waiting for Murr to pop out half the video
lol
His face tho😹
suprised that doesnt happen more often tbh
Anyone on here approving that woman’s intervention clearly doesn’t understand precedents
Genius, what a hero is that person
I would have kicked her in the back of the head repeatedly
That’s the most hilarious thing I’ve ever seen 😂

Los Sambrero watch it again...Andy puts the ball back in
Besides the fact that we can't see the ball back in, Murray stopped the point so in any case he should be given that point. The right decision was to replay the point though.
I'm not sure what you mean by "puts the ball back in". Back in the package it came?
OriginalMindTrick andy Murray hit the ball back in, and the other player stopped. Therefore andy Murray was the last one to hit it in
andy murray put that ball back in the package it came in. Therefore andy Murray stopped the game
Someone really hates Murray 🤣
Why did he stop the play when somebody said out? Usually, you continue it and ignore the shoutings?
He thought it was a line watcher not a member of the audience when a watcher calls you have to stop
How’d that person not get escorted out tho
141 mph big serve too
Please explain to me what happened. I dont watch tennis or know anything about it but would like to know what happened

I thinkトマト教開祖 is much more strange than this.
John Constantine I am GOD tomato(🍅 ゚д゚ 🍅). I'm right.
トマト教開祖 hahaha! You're so funny:)
the fan who called out should be kicked out immediately and let them waste their money
Wat is happening here?
ppl giving andy murray praise when this happened up 2 sets to love and 5-2 lmao
But was the ball good ?
Nicolas Ofc yes !
Ok..who's the fuc"*#*...crowd said that..??
何がどうなったのか教えてください
サーブは普通に入っていましたが、観客の誰かがフォルトのコールを大声でしたためリプレイになりました。って感じですね
Fognini says it way better 😂
Is it just me or someone else also thinks that the chair umpire might be related to Bezos?

That is a big ass diamond

The British looked like their whole nation was insulted

Wow Kim and Andy looking like someone asked for their second Kidney. Freaking 5-2 up with a 2-0 set lead. I smell entitlement.
Or they look confused and unsure of what happened. Pascal offered the point to Andy who chose instead to replay it.
yeah they're fucking boring.
lol easy. that´s a pretty disgraceful thing to do, and pretty surprisingly to me, everybody kept his/her cool and they just replayed it.
Shut up Laxmipathi Balaji
I smell ignorance in your post.
Just think, Murray destroyed Rublev here. He probably won't beat him ever again 😒
Aussies.
Andy needs to go back to the grocery store
And you need to go back to mcdonalds
LoL😂😂😂😂😂

Yea ofcourse, Andy hitted the ball in the net.
They both where troubled by the shout out.
Obiously its either Rublev his point or a redo.

Sam only one word can describe your little essay unironically wanting a quiet crowd at a sport: cringe
