The new Minecraft update is out
By the way for those wondering MTU stands for "Maximum Transmission Unit" or in simple terms. How much data you're getting in a single packet from the Internet at a time. 1500 Means 1500 bytes, or 1.5 KB, but this is a pack of data, a single one. If you think of it like this. Let's say you get 1.5kb every 100th of a second, vs 1.4kb (1400 bytes)
So 150KB every second, vs 140KB per second.
1000KB equals a Megabyte, since 150*20 is 3k, but 140*20 is only 2.8k That means for every 3MB's of data transferred, you're losing out on 200kb, over time this magnifies a lot when you're transferring 100's of MB. Because at 300MB, you're losing essentially 20MB. or around 6.7% of data transfer capability.
Is that a good thing?

Another thing, start playing a game that DOES use internet, it WILL pause the download, but once the game loads close it and it will start the download, but now it'll go faster. Repeat if necessary.

Thanks for the tip. I changed the MTU while I was downloading pikmin 4 and it went from an hour and a half to less than an hour

@@_bop5209Yeah but it used to be that everyone with internet connection was using ethernet but not anymore, so back then if you saw this video you very likely already knew what ethernet was because you would need it to see the video in the first place

Yeah, but you are literally just giving access to more wifi... to much or to littles always a problem. Setting it to automatic solves those issues. Why people use mtu to both get into private lobbies. And fix bugged features

Yeah remember the switch has a dookiebslow arm based cpu that’s about on par with a galaxy s6 so it can’t get too much better as it stands folks

If you don’t have an Ethernet adapter, just put the switch right next to the router/modem
putting it in sleep move makes no sense

If you only plan to use it on tv, why get an oled? Also there are only 2 cables, a hdmi and the power cable that comes with the switch

@@rierz_yes So you will need a tv/monitor that has a hdmi output. It should say in the back like Hdmi 1 or Hdmi 2, something like that, that's where you put the hdmi cable that comes with the switch, the other end you place in the dock, the power cable has to be connected to an outlet and the other end to the dock
