I truly hope that Nicola feels the love from the fans for the 2nd part of season 3 because she is beautiful and this scene completely shows how beautiful she is. I had butterflies during the love scene, truly fun, innocent, clumsy, romantic, and beautiful.

Anthony’s reaction to the engagement wasn’t about him not liking Pen. He wanted to announce that him and Kate were expecting. Finding out about Colin put a pause on that bc he didn’t want to overshadow the engagement.
Also Colin is known for being very impulsive & they grew up with pen. The whole joke of Benedict asking if he would duel his own brother was bc he would protect pens honor. He had no idea Colin had feelings for her so he was concerned if it was genuine.
In the books Anthony walks pen home and protects her when Cressida tries to bully her.

1). After the carriage, the get let off at the Featherington house where Colin asks for Pen’s hand (but him and Portia have a bitch off similar to the one in this episode)
2). Colin tells Pen he wants to do it in front of the mirror in the book, but they never actual get to do that. Their first time is also during their engagement party
3). Lady Danbury is the one who offered £1000 to whoever can guess who LW is at a ball when her and Penelope & Colin were talking, purely to entertain herself
4). Penelope retired as LW but shortly after, Cressida did claim to be LW in the book, but absolutely no one believed her. They think she’s too stupid for that
5). All the dialogue from the mirror scene (after Penelope lays down is stripped straight from the book).

Also, she should've told Colin before they slept together/got married. I get why they decided to kind of deviate from the books to add more drama, but I love that in the book, Colin married her after knowing she's LW. And the carriage/marriage proposal happened soonafter finding out she's LW. (On the carriage ride home from the church where he found her dropping off her next article)
Also, in the books, Cressida did take credit for LW, but I think it was Lady Danbury who set up the prize money. They took a lot more stuff from the book to put in this season compared to what they did to Kanthony's season, which makes me happy.

I think she is right about Pen revealing LW to Colin, but she is so angry that she even says that her childhood friendship with Penelope was a ruse to get Colin. I Just want my girls to be better friends to each other.
I agree about Eloise. Everyone is so hard on Pen about telling Colin but don't realize that they have only been engaged for 5 minutes before she was confronted by Eloise. The girl hadn't had time to catch her breath after their make out in the carriage. When did she have time to tell him. I understand Eloise protecting her brother, but give Pen a chance to explain to Colin herself. Pressuring her made it difficult to tell him. Pen needed a calm atmosphere to explain to him how and why she became LW. Also, she was afraid that now that she finally got the man of her dreams if it was revealed in the wrong way he would react the same way as Eloise. It took over a year for Eloise to even speak to Pen, imagine how Colin would react. I believe that if Eloise had just a little compassion for her friend,Pen, instead of treating her like a villain, she would have told Colin earlier. But instead she had to treat her like an enemy instead of someone she used to love. I think Eloise need to grow up. She treated Cressida the same way.
Cresida is still the viper she has always been. Blackmailing Penelope because she didn't get the 5000 pounds from the queen.

When to tell colin? Well I think if she keeps the secret until after they are married she is basically doing as marina tried to do to colin. Its entr*pment and thats not ok in my book.
But personally I already think its not ok she slept with him without him knowing who he is actually sleeping with. Especially in that time, to him she could be carrying his child now. She shouldn't have done that. That wasn't right. Colin is a sensitive man baring his all to the woman he h*tes. It will crush him the second he finds out, worse than the marina thing ever did.
But pen is like a man dying of thirst in the love department and colin just gave her some water. She is in a daze and drinking it up like there is no tomorrow, cause there might not be one. Also understandable. Her self contr*l is non existing at this point. She is taking what she can get and not picky about it either.

It's so hard watching these reaction videos because everyone only seems to watch 1 episode at a time and we have to wait for more reactions....I watched the rest of the season as soon as it was released last night at 3:00am in the morning I didn't get to sleep until 7:00am in the morning because I couldn't wait to watch the rest of this season....and of course I only watched the Polin scenes because I can't stand the other characters.....I only like Polin, plus it would have took me even longer to watch boring scenes of everyone else! Polin is Everything and their love story is absolutely beautiful....they had me in tears in some scenes! I liked watching it all play out instead of reading the book! I can't wait to see more Polin in Season 4 especially sinse Polin is officially together!

For sure, Cressida us the result of bad parenting. But at the same time whe is like ... 20, old enough to be responsible for her actions and decisions. But also, b/c of the times woefully undereducated and inexperienced at life and true consequences.

I agree with the rest of Polin's season their season was absolutely beautiful....How can you watch these episodes so slowly, please get to the other episodes because I need to see your reaction to 6, 7, 8...this is taking too long....why do reactionaries take so long to react????
I mean the show is so good and it's all on there now to be watched....I'm sorry I'm just really impatient to watch reaction videos but again people take so long in watching it's hard to wait what people think about it all not just what everyone thinks about one episode....especially with how terrible Cressida actually is even more into the show, nobody should have ever felt sorry for her, she's absolutely awful to Penelope!
But I also get that everyone may not have time to watch all episodes right away especially when they can be lengthy and some of these episodes are within an 1 hour long altough the first 4 episodes didn't have any 1 hour long episodes but that's besides the point and I should also point out that I didn't watch this season properly because I only watched the Polin scenes....
I skipped to just the scenes that were of Polin because they are the only couple I like, they are the most awesome couple out of this whole series and it just would have been way too long and boring for me to watch every single scene play out with every single character when all I care about is Polin!
So, I guess I should understand that other fans want to react to everything they watch and not just Polin but darn it Polin is so awesome as a couple that it's hard to wait for everyone to react to them being together because their season is beautiful absolutely beautiful....Polin Forever!

I like the message at the begining and I agree ,Pen is a romantic. But when people say Deblin is a better match for her it is because their is more to life than romance. Deblin checks all the other boxes. He respects her, treats her well, values her thoughts and opinions. He is protective and has never embarrased her so he can look koo for his friends. Colin is what she wants, Deblin is what she needs. Of course we want her to have love but we also want her to have all the other things as well and I got to be honest I believe Deblin's love for Pen can grow. I'm not sure Collin's respect for her ever will.
Look at the insane difference in how he treats Marina and Pen when "courting them". I mean technically he did not court Pen. But he is still pissed about the woman who tried to trap him in a loveless marriage and had he respected her less it would've worked. He is very careful with all the other women but that courtesy is not extended to Pen and that bothers me deeply. They love eachother but that does not make them good for one another. That could change but as of S3E4 Deblin is the better option because Collin is to confortable to appreciate who Pen is and understand what she deserves.
There is a great Colin character analysis by Sammy bates where I think you would Colin character much better He does value her thoughts and opinions. He asked her wat she feels and thinks al the time and how she is he always goes after her when he sees she is upset in this season but also season 1 and 2. They seek each other out every time watch all the seasons.He made 1 remark that was not nice but does not negate how he treated her also those years. They tell each other things the don’t tell their family because both their families don’t take them seriously example when his family asked him how many countries he visited he said he doesn’t remember ( because in the past they always said he talks to much about that) but to pen he was comfortable and said 17 and it’s the same for pen if you watched the previous seasons she would talks about things she didn’t even talk about to Eloise( except the LW thing)even when the where apart they would write each other letters( Colin family would ignore him in that regard to) they feel comfortable which each to be themselves. She is it for him that’s why a lot for people say he was already in love with her he just didn’t realize it because how he is with her( also in season 3 he is only 22 got that from a interview with Luke newton)When he realized what he was feeling for her was much more then friendship he went for it that is his character when he makes a decision he goes straight for it. He is straightforward example when he hears those women whispering about them he went straight to them and asked there are a lot of example in Sammy bates video about it.
