My personal favorite area is Asok, with terminal 21 and the bts on your doorstep . Terminal 21 food floor is hard to beat for value and choice and you can hop on the train to go everywhere on sukhumvit in air conditionned speed!
Stayed in Sukhumvit 11 in 2020.. yes there are few good clubs at your doorstep... 7/11 at both ends of the street and in between Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy
I stayed in the Federal Hotel Soi 11 for many years, then it was torn down to make condos; so I went to soi 19 to the sister hotel, Honey Hotel for about 5 years. Then that one closed and I went to Best Comfort Inn down Soi 19 a bit more, great place, friendly staff! Thanks for all your vlogs!
Can't beat the Nana Hotel, great buffet breakfast, fast laundry service and great pool, opposite the Nana Plaza 1 1/2 km from Soi Cowboy, 4 km from Patpong rd
Thanks for the video. I will be visiting Thailand for the first time in the beginning of April. Made a reservation at Ibis based on your recommendation.
Iv stayed many hotels on soi 4 , all enjoyable stays and all guest friendly. Good nightlife all around and easy cut by soi 6 to soi 8 , Soi 8 now becoming a popular night spot with good bars and restaurants
33 years ago, Soi 4 Nana Hotel Room 111 never forget this stay, coz my first one, even remember the Room Number😅😅, now prefer more calmer Hotels or Homestay, good vlog, good memories, thank you and stay safe 🙏🏼🇹🇭
Something you forgot to mention about the Ibis Nana, the staff are awesome! Very helpful and service orientated. The rooms are not large, but very clean and well maintained. It has become my favorite hotel on Soi 4.
Agree, Sukhumvit is the best area to stay in Bangkok. Easy to go everywhere with skytrain. Shopping, party and girls in walking distance. Also good hotels in Soi 6 and 8!
The Royal President is a very good choice, I have often stayed there and will again. The indoor pool is not in direct sunlight so the water is cool. After a hot day in Bangkok (or night) that pool is great.
i ahve been 3 times in BKK and each time i stayed in "The Sukosol" - a little out of the center - but only 3 minutes to walk to skytrain and 4 or 4 stations till Siam Paragon or MBK
I enjoyed my stay at the IBIS Hotel Nana. A good clean hotel with reasonable prices and great staff. The day manager was a lovely lady who was very helpful. Recommend this place. 👍 Cheers! 🇹🇭
Great vlog Arsen. Got a six night stay at the Nana Hotel on Soi 4 next week. It might be a little dated but i stayed there on my last trip to BKK and loved it.
I Love Bangkok and before the pandemic, I would stayed at The Darwin Hotel Soi 4, part of the Dynasty hotel chain, a great place & I always felt safe there, also the staff were very pleasant & helpful and lady friendly. Personally I felt a lot of the Bigger hotels are not so lady friendly. I also found using the Sky train very easy and convenient. Thank you for another great video 😎
@@stupot1952 yes I have also heard that, but when looking to book for September, they are taking booking's in Pattaya? Let's hope there planning to reopen 😊
Arsen I’ll be coming to Bangkok for dental work at BIDC in August. Where can one stay that’s affordable near by? Should I book ahead or wait till I arrive? Many thanks for videos and suggestions!
I spent a lot of times looking at vlogs and blogs to get an idea for my first stay in Bangkok. I went mid-range, some of those de-luxe hotels on Sukhumvit were eye-watering for 2-weeks stay. I chose Adelphi Suites, a short way up Soi 8. Very good facilies, good reviews, Guest Friendly (always an important point for us single male travellers) and 3k TBT per night (£71/night, $88)
Hello Arsen, my favorite is the Dream Hotel. I stayed there sometimes and it was great every time. They have really large, beautifully rooms. Asok station and Terminal 21 (you have already made a video in the Foodcourt, i think) is near. Thanks for the information about this area..
