- I thought there would be no more snow in March, but it snowed unexpectedly. However, I was nervous that the tent would collapse from the heavy snow that contained water, but it held up well even after it rained overnight. This will probably be our last winter camp.

The snow never stops ! In this temperature the snow is wet and very heavy and sticks to everything. Lucky for you the tent was strong enough to support the weight of the snow. Too bad you forgot to bring a breakfast you could have been there longer . Thanks for sharing

Why not close the damper and the airflow slots in order to reduce the consumption of the wood?
You're burning about 4-5 times as much wood as needed.
