Shalom Emily, in case you understand spanish, there is a site called Curso Alef where you can learn Hebrew online. Try this, really, I highly recommend to learn Hebrew (and even if it would be just to be more easily able to sing with Elihana along her wonderful intonations of Tehilim and those of Ofra Haza … ;-)). Although in the meantime I'm afraid I will never reach the end of learning Hebrew, I can testify that every little vocabulary helping me to understand the original text of the Tehilim and of all the ancient holy scriptures is worth repeating it until it sticks firmly to my memory. Take Khuzpe, it's never too late to learn some new blessing words more! In case of remaining questions and if there is no Rabbi near where you live, a well trained pastor coming from a really good bible school should be able to help you too. Now to find the text of this title take and read the Holy Scriptures and when you happen to stumble over Tehilim 118, 26 you got it. :-) That's exactly the text! Shalom Emily, in case you understand spanish, there is a site called Curso Alef where you can learn Hebrew online. Try this, really, I highly recommend to learn Hebrew (and even if it would be just to be more easily able to sing with Elihana along her wonderful intonations of Tehilim and those of Ofra Haza … ;-)).
Although in the meantime I'm afraid I will never reach the end of learning Hebrew, I can testify that every little vocabulary helping me to understand the original text of the Tehilim and of all the ancient holy scriptures is worth repeating it until it sticks firmly to my memory.
