I had 2 trainers at Crete who didn't allow listening to music while driving and one who allowed it. I had different tastes in music then but now I listen to classic rock and country and many who train me or who I train listen to the same music.
I could never team with any woman because i already know 😂😂😂😂

I teamed before while in Prime TNT program. 40k team miles, wont do it again. I was sleep deprived and fatigued.
Also no privacy at all. I was so depressed during those few months of teaming. Those bodily urges do increase.
I trained one person. If I had a female student, I personally would not want to see her in a romantic way and keep it professional. Too much can go wrong on a box on wheel being around them 24/7
Yea I was in therapy at the time it was definitely awkward but I was just lucky he was so cool. It’s definitely best to keep it Platonic until one of y’all are off the truck. Unless y’all were in a relationship prior.

When I drove for prime, I thought about asking a random driver if they wanted to team or having prime pair me with another driver. But I said nahhh lol. I was running the NE region just to get my experience and I really though about going OTR solo. But I resigned from prime because of personal matters and because I wanted to relocate to another state which is what I did. Im still in trucking and would consider teaming with someone; but it has to be the right fit for the both of us.

I work as a drive for Chicago Transit Authority and our top pay is $39.45 per hour and with overtime I gross well over 6 figures but I’ve got 24 years in and in about 3 yrs I’m retiring . Good luck and be safe young lady
Your home town is Baltimore? My hometown is Baltimore as well. My trainers at Crete were men in their late 50s early 60s. As far as team driving I'd prefer it be a spouse. Couple teams are not too bad from what I learned when I used to swap loads with a team from Atlanta.

@hisway1995 isn't 1k miles illegal to drive for a Trucker.
Of course, it depends on your dispatcher, they just want the freight moved. They wouldn't consider a person like you because you're a rule follower but, in our case we didn't object. We were there to make money 💰...we were always safety conscious..but, no Doubt we rock and rolled. 🚛🚚🚛
@@hisway1995 oh I break rules, I just want sacrifice my Life for money or a company, 1k miles at a time is dangerous for a trucker, I rode a few times with my trucker uncle in the 80's as a kid from okc to Los Angels & back in 48hours with only 1 stop each way, highly illegal.
