(even though I think FLLFFL vs Thunder was a close second) I'm pretty sure at least 95% of everyone on Earth would run away from Umbrella if they had one arm, were very old, and have only one sword.

He was 11/12 somewhere in there I believe. If I recall he's about 17 now but I could be wrong on that. I'll ask him later. I also recommend joining Hyun's Dojo (www.hyunsdojo.com) where you will find many different animators with varying styles.

I love how one of the big reasons umbrella won, was because when flyffl had the chance to end the fight, he didn't go for it (in the air where he stabbed his flight pack) because flyffl often tries not to kill his opponents unless he has too

Probably one of the greatest RHG battles I've ever seen. It felt "story-like", had great music that synced perfectly with the duel, and the background and rainy atmosphere that made it feel like a serious, yet sorrowful battle. If you watched these character's past fights, and learned their stories, this match will definitely have you out of your seat. Great job Resh. Even if you did win by default, it would've been hard for Terkoiz to make something as unique and awesome as this. At least, that's how I feel. :]

I remember anticipating this video to come out when I saw the chat between Resh and Terkoiz on Dojo. I also remember how joyous and excited I was on the day of publishing. Time really flies, but this battle is still as epic as I remembered it. This must be one of the most beautiful legacies of RHG...

Deserves it 1.4 M views -deserves way more, but sadly society hasn't caught up to the style of stick fights- Resh's animations were my childhood, with Dark vs Ice and Franky vs Umbrella, so when I saw this animation, it put a smile on my face. As predictable as it was that FLLFFL was going to die at the end, it still was a very emotional moment when he did. Usually I wouldn't use the word emotion when describing a stickman's death, but this animation was just so well done that the word actually applies to it. Bravo, Resh, bravo
Remember when u asked to see how well I can draw those dragons I had in mind? Well I am in process of draw them and so far it has taken me an hour to figure out the structure of each character. Their structure is similar to a ponies except the snouts are slightly bigger, the necks are longer, and their eyes are smaller yet piercing, giving them their own sort of elegance.

I never really liked Umbrella's character from his earlier battles however, but that all changed after this one, all because of the atmosphere. Both fighters had severe handicaps (Umbrella was becoming "unstable" due to overexposure to radiation and Alfa was old and injured), giving the fight a brilliant feeling of desperation, as if both fighters knew this would be their final battle (since Umbrella is about to be terminated by Commander Red). Even the rain seemed to emphasize this despair; that both their lives were running out one way or the other. Combine that with awesome music, effects, fighting skills and that epic throwback to Alfa vs Thunder and you have the most mind-blowing fight ever. Terkoiz was always my favourite animator and everything he does seems to be more brilliant than the last, but I still doubt he'll be able to top this. Simply amazing.

Man Nostagia Brought me Back and man this has not aged a day... This will always be One of the Greatest Fights at RHG's Old and Final Era the highlight (at the time) of The Old fighting The New (at the time)
It's been 3 years and I still get a solid 10 minutes of goose bumps every time I watch this animation (despite minor errors you can find by watching frame-by-frame). Emotion is communicated very clearly throughout the series.
I hope Resh will make a remake with this, I wanna reccomend him using the E-Guitar Cover of the song he used. My opinion on this animation; One of the best and amazing animations I have ever seen even if it's just stickmen fighting. The graphics, the ambience, and the effects of each second of the animation was flawless. I wanna thank Resh for making this animation.
I watched this when I was a tennager, I've been looking for this animation for a while and I finally managed to find it, and it's definitely as epic as I remembered Outstanding quality
I watch this one every once in a while. It is truly beautiful and a great ending for FLLFFL. Tired, old, hurt from his previous fights, finally meeting his match. I wonder what would have happened if these two met in FLLFFL's prime.
It was a good fight i'll admit that. The battle was the fight between the two superpowers of the rhg series and it was wonderful. BUT even after seeing that i still see fllffl as the best warrior of the rhg series. Why you may ask, well i see it as the facts that fllffl had and extreme handicap, as in the time period of this battle taking place fllffl is sadly at his weakest. Injured, having his favoured arm taken via his battle with pulse, and his clearly shown old age, he is at his downright weakest we will ever see him. Where as Umbrella is at his strongest with his recently obtained upgrades and his new ability to fly easily. There's also the fact that dispite the literal handicap fllffl has he STILL nearly killed umbrella. All im saying is to me fllffl in his prime would of won that fight easily. Like if you agree with this

You speak the truth. Alfa had such a huge handicap throughout this fight and still held his own, even managing to impale Umbrella before he died. No doubt he is the most skilled of the two fighters.
Okay, this is my opinion about this. This is by far my favorite stick battle/RHG. Both sides had handicaps and were going to die no matter the outcome. FLLFFL was old, and only had one arm. Umbrella was going to die due to radiation exposure. the music and rain emphasized this depressing battle, followed up by the facial expressions. Then, few RHG battles have such a detailed background, but this one has. The characters both are so detailed, their body length is pitch perfect, and the few moments of pause, such as the "How are you holding up" just were perfectly placed, and timed. I simply cannot say anything about this being better. And the intro was simply sick.

It's been 3 years and I still get a solid 10 minutes of goose bumps every time I watch this animation (despite minor errors you can find by watching frame-by-frame).
Emotion is communicated very clearly throughout the series.
I had the BEST memories with this childhood. . .
The choreography and camera direction are honestly impressive even after 8 years later. It's insane.

My opinion on this animation;
One of the best and amazing animations I have ever seen even if it's just stickmen fighting. The graphics, the ambience, and the effects of each second of the animation was flawless.
I wanna thank Resh for making this animation.

I watched this when I was a tennager, I've been looking for this animation for a while and I finally managed to find it, and it's definitely as epic as I remembered

I watch this one every once in a while. It is truly beautiful and a great ending for FLLFFL. Tired, old, hurt from his previous fights, finally meeting his match. I wonder what would have happened if these two met in FLLFFL's prime.

It was a good fight i'll admit that. The battle was the fight between the two superpowers of the rhg series and it was wonderful. BUT even after seeing that i still see fllffl as the best warrior of the rhg series. Why you may ask, well i see it as the facts that fllffl had and extreme handicap, as in the time period of this battle taking place fllffl is sadly at his weakest. Injured, having his favoured arm taken via his battle with pulse, and his clearly shown old age, he is at his downright weakest we will ever see him. Where as Umbrella is at his strongest with his recently obtained upgrades and his new ability to fly easily. There's also the fact that dispite the literal handicap fllffl has he STILL nearly killed umbrella. All im saying is to me fllffl in his prime would of won that fight easily. Like if you agree with this

You speak the truth. Alfa had such a huge handicap throughout this fight and still held his own, even managing to impale Umbrella before he died. No doubt he is the most skilled of the two fighters.

Okay, this is my opinion about this. This is by far my favorite stick battle/RHG. Both sides had handicaps and were going to die no matter the outcome. FLLFFL was old, and only had one arm. Umbrella was going to die due to radiation exposure. the music and rain emphasized this depressing battle, followed up by the facial expressions. Then, few RHG battles have such a detailed background, but this one has. The characters both are so detailed, their body length is pitch perfect, and the few moments of pause, such as the "How are you holding up" just were perfectly placed, and timed. I simply cannot say anything about this being better. And the intro was simply sick.
