Lol, the struggle is real! I’m still loving my one piece and just recently started researching adding another piece or two from this line…not because I need to replace my non-Delsey pieces, but because I know the Delsey versions will be so nice (and match!)

Thank you for the video! It helped me decide! If you are still wanting a matching set, you could always just replace your makeup case with one that fit better in the 21” carry on. Of course if you are in love with your case it might not be worth it. Just a thought!

The design on your shirt goes nicely with the chocolate brown color of the luggage. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that you happened to be wearing it while doing the demo :) And your nice slim figure enhances the luggage even more !
Hi Lisa! Yes, I’m still using and loving my Delsey. As a matter of fact, I’ve added to my collection! While my hard-side case isn’t perfect, as I outlined in the video, the pros outweigh the cons and I’m very happy with my Delsey purchases. I think k the question on hard vs soft-side really comes down to how you expect to use. If you will be doing a lot of air travel, I think a hard is the best way to go for durability. But that’s not to say a soft case won’t hold up; it’s just more of a risk. Good luck with your decision!

It’s doing great! (Though I haven’t gotten to travel with it in several months...sigh). I have checked it on several occasions and it’s held up well. It’s gotten a few new marks that mostly come off with the Magic Eraser. It’s also experienced some scuffs but they’re not too noticeable. I think this is unavoidable when checking luggage. I’d still recommend as long as you are okay with the cons I mention in the video. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching!
I actually took mine off. I got a metal tag engraved that I use instead. The metal tag came from Walmart in the pet section/dog collar machine but the one I got was multi-purpose and came with the bag attachment. It’s been very durable! Thanks for watching!!
I just received mine, have you had an issue with the handle skipping the 1st position telescoping up and then back down? It seems like you have to go very slow so it locks in place. Anything?
No, I’ve had no problems. I’d definitely recommend exchanging if you can. Mine has held up great for several years now so hopefully you can get similar longevity. Good luck!

What a bummer. Wonder if they’ve changed their mechanism? It does scratch a bit, but in the darker color I don’t feel like it’s noticeable. I’ve done a lot less traveling over the past 18 months (like most people) but would guess I’ve used it at around 30 times.

They might have changed the mechanism, I think its an "easy glide" system. you kinda have to go easy so it locks in the 1st position. It must be for very elegant and laid back people. I am more of a bull LOL.. thanks for responding!!
