For a show from the 70s All in the family aged really well, the issues they talk about are still relevant today but at the same time it works as a time capsule for the issues that were relevant in the 70s
(Jim Henson's) Dinosaurs is the show I consider to have aged the best. There are some bits that need additional context like the parody of Very Special Episodes, but for the most part it has aged distressingly well because time is a flat circle and social and material progress died with the Reagan administration.
Dif’rent strokes is spelled that way because it’s supposed to be said like it would be in AAVE since it’s a comedy about poor black kids adopted by a rich white man
Great video! Gotta say though, you talk VERY fast, might wanna let the script breathe a little. I'm usually good at understanding accents but with the speed on top of it, I have almost no time to process what's being said😭💜
I speak at about the same phase as most other people do on youtube, it feels messy because I can't speak for my life, of course, trying to get better with every video! You can use subtitles, almost all my videos have them.
I love the nanny but sooooooo many of its jokes, references, and cameos make 0 sense to me as a 23 y/o since I have no context for who those people are lmao
This only has 200 views????? This is some of the most well made videos I have seen on the platform (though a few background choices while showing clips did make the bitrate worse)
It did just release hehehe. Actually, this is one of my lower quality videos, I have like several videos with complex game design concepts and research as heck hehehe
@@rubyr8922 yikes, people from my country usually have a super obvious accent that is instantly recognizable, but I hide it well enough hehehehe. Not finnish, I'll give you a second guess
I love this video, lots of great points and ideas in here. However, the H in the word "character" is silent, so it should sound like care-acter, not chair-acter. Not that it's that big of a deal, the video was still very funny and enjoyable
Hahahaha, reminds me of a book they make middle high students read here in mexico called "battles in the desert" It's about a kid who has a crush on the mother of his best friend, and shit gets super akward, and it's all weirdly described. I mean, some kids develop crushes on their teachers even now, which I think is why they let that episode pass. I wonder if it's less common now that the internet increases the pool of women teens get to see and interact with... Hmmmm.
The main page led me here, and I have to say, great video :) I really only have one criticism, and that is that despite how good your pronunciation is in the context of being a non-native speaker, your pronunciation of "character" irks me a bit. The "ch" is pronounced like "k" here, and while this usually wouldn't bother me, the frequency with which "character" with the faulty pronunciation appears in the video due to the subject matter gets me taken out of the video a bit.
The way he pronounces character doesn’t bother me, but I wanted to pop in and say that “genre” is pronounced “jawn-ruh” (like the word “dawn”). I only mention this because this was the one difference in pronunciation that made me not recognize the word. It’s a loan word from French which is why it’s pronounced and spelled that way 😂
Oh god you haven't seen the netflix video, I basically say "character" like that for like 5 of the 5.5 hours, and It makes me sad cuz I always forget X3. I'm trying to fix it hehehe

To me, a good example of a show that aged really well is Malcolm in the middle.
@@Escararpa oh if only someone had reviewed and ranked every episode
Yes, no, maybe? I don't know.
Oh my god you have captions!! As someone with audio processing issues THANK YOU

No mention of the fact I said "the first r" instead of the e.
Of course, I know why the show is called that, but I liked the ink joke.

I've actually never seen the nanny, but I know someone who absolutely loves it! I'd like to watch it but the "shows I'd like to watch" backlog is BIG.

I’ve been trying to figure out what accent you have for the entire video, im gonna say Finland

From what I can hear the video's great, but you should definitely "normalize peaks", I suggest 8db
Huh... I do 6db, but you may be right.

Hehehe, don't worry, I'm aware of the issue as it's pointed out A LOT. I need to get a little better at saying it because I always forget.
Watch the All Grown Up episode, What's Love got to do with it?, it is amazing how it got past the FCC even for 2005.

Sitballs
sit ON the balls?
You should make a veado sitcom about your tomato adventures on the ketchup factory
that would take forever and get no views, sadly.
