Thank you! Please let me know if you have any suggestions. I'm now making a shorter format strategy guide and have done it for Fish Tales and The Getaway so far. If you have a chance, please take a look and let me know what you think.

Haha... this is the table that I find the easiest by far to control the ball. A lot of it has to do with completely avoiding certain shots i.e. the right ramp. Going for the jackpots is risky and I get nervous!

Thank you! It was a really nice table to figure out and I love the way it plays with the new physics.

Were you playing in single player mode or classic mode at the beginning? You talked about classic arcade in some point there, but the ball physics look more like they are in single player mode. At single player mode you can catch the ball from the whirlpool by just holding the right flipper up. I haven´t tested the classic arcade mode yet.

I play the game in Classic Arcade, but I point out some issues with Single player (sorry, mistakenly call it Classic Single player). You can take a look at the time stamps in the description to see where I point out these issues and also play a Single player multiball. Thanks for the tip, I missed it while playing as I was more focussed on the fact that you have to work hard to control the balls in Single player because you can't live catch the ball on the right flipper. It is not possible in Classic Arcade to catch the ball from the whirlpool by just holding the flipper up, it will just roll off the flipper.

@@PinStratsDan I just tried both modes and yes indeed in single player it is not possible to live catch at right flipper. The ball behaves very differently in this table in arcade mode than any other williams table i've played. It's almost easier in some way to control the ball than in single player. I was able to catch the ball from the whirlpool in arcade mode by holding the right flipper up, but i only managed to get it there just once. Great video and good tips btw!

Thanks, glad you found it of use! I love the new physics in Universal Monsters because all the flipper tricks feels so much more natural now. I do feel though in Classic Arcade that they made the ball a bit too slow and that they removed to much variability i.e. like you pointed out, the ball is too easy to control while Vol 4 you had to really work to bring the ball under control.
I'll see again tomorrow if I can catch the ball in Classic Arcade from the Whirlpool by holding up the flipper because that can make a huge difference in building up the playfield multiplier. I can't think that I didn't try it, but I also won't be surprised if I missed it ;-)

@@PinStratsDan It could also be that i got lucky that one time catching the ball :P I find the earlier tables almost impossible to play in arcade mode. Even this table is very brutal when you miss or brick the shot, almost certain drain every time. I guess you have watched the PAPA pinball guides by Bowen Kerins? They are very useful also. But now i have to sleep a few hours..

I tried it today and it rolls off the flipper if you just hold it up. Maybe sometimes it won't, but you can't rely on it.
I've watched the PAPA videos. They are always my starting point when I first play a new table. It is only since Universal Monsters, Creature that I could more or less mirror what he does because of the ability to live catch the ball.
My main tip for playing Classic Arcade is to choose a table and to stick with it until you are satisfied with your game. The first table will take you the longest but there after you'll be able to adapt quicker when you start a new table. If I had to start over now I would choose Monster Bash or Theatre of Magic and definitely not Attack from Mars, White Water, or Medieval Madness.
