More than 10 years and still this song performance gives me chills
I come back to this every now and again. One of the most awesome performances. Still enjoy it as I did when watching live. Both singers quite different but both amazing.

This was indeed an angelic battle, loved both their voices.
Coming back to this after more than 8 years, I'm disappointed that Kelsie and Brittany didn't record some music together. Although I'm more partial to Kelsie's performance with this song, I also think they complement each other so beautifully - Brittany's got that more husky, grounded quality in her voice where Kelsie sounds very ethereal. Both are outstanding singers.
So I just found Kelsie somehow thru a youtube wormhole, (alcohol may be involve) after being entranced by her voice I followed her channel and now found this video.. Currently wondering the same thing. For fucks sake these two need to record more music together!!

kesie didnt win for nothing she IS very good, but she not win because she is better, because is not, she won only because the judges prefer this kind of voice kind of pop, but brittany is much better not singing but inside her heart and the way she singing her soul to the people she is more like a angel, thats why she didnt win people hate angels , thats why i never watch this program anymore.
They were both absolutely amazing. Kelsie's voice is soft and when she hits those high notes it made my heart stop. Brittany's voice is strong and powerful and gave me goosebumps. Though out of the two I would choose Brittany.

That final note by Kelsie was haunting. Brittany's version I feel like was more true to the original form of the song, but Kelsie added a really refreshing timbre and style to the vocals, and I feel like hers was the more nuanced of the two performances.
Oh geez Kelsie's phrasing and articulation at 0:54 floors me.
Gyu-Sub Lee Kelsie tried to oversing Brittany and hung onto her notes too long whereas Brittanys voice is pure and natural - she definitely deserved to win this battle - Kelsie was still good though

they should have teamed up. Their voices are so complementary with each other that I keep coming to this video again and again after all these years. There is something so powerful about this. It isn't normal. They would have done something great together.

Like many people here, watched this many times over. Always thought Brittany was the better singer but the more I come back to this song the more I prefer Kelsie. It's as if the song slows down when she steps in, Brittany has a wonderful voice but it's like she's trying to overpower Kelsie and not quite managing it. Emotion, control and variety, Kelsie is flawless.
Either way, great battle.

I'll never understand why judges in these shows pair up their best singers in the battle rounds. Seems like a waste of talent because one of them will leave.

Especially poor kelsie, she’s been on twice and both times lost to the winner of her season during the battle rounds

Turning tables is a masterpiece of a song by Adele but these two have brung out the song with a lot of heartache which is what Adele did with it and it was amazing great job ladies

The song is supposed to be strong - thats how its meant to be sung! Kelsie hung on to her notes too long and kept nearly oversinging Brittany - Brittany has the most natural and soulful voice - afetr all she got all of the mentors to turn around!
Kelsy's good but Britney's voice sounds better she has a more powerful voice which fits the song perfectly.

Brittany is good but she plays it safe. Kelsie brings out the artistry. I've checked some of their solo stuff. Brittany's stuff is safe where as Kelsie brings something new to the table.

I've watched this clip countless times and it blows me away each and every time...I think Kelsie nails it (huge fan)...but from an overall performance..I rate it higher than the original (Adele)....it just speaks to me that way...best performance of all time on the Voice!
