Greetings Dennis, Thank you for the whole series of demos of vintage amps! I especially like the fact that you demo the various types of harp mic elements. Now I have to get a controlled reluctance mic to add to my vintage collection! Great series Dennis! Please keep them coming.! All the Best,
    Gregson Gordon 🎵

How do you think that would sound the supro 64 1606j, with just volume knob, for amplified harmonica?. I want to buy one but Im not quite sure. Its equiped with 5w and 1 pre 12ax7 and 1 6v6 in a Jensen speaker c-8 R (8"). Could you give me some orientation to buy??. Greetings from Chile!

Hi! The Supro amps from the 1960's without tone control knobs, are not my favorite for harp. The Jensen C8R is OK, not my favorite, but OK in some amplifiers, but most important for most amps for harmonica is a tone setting. I prefer the Premier or Alamo amplifiers for harp, or a 1950's Supro with tone control.

Wie stellt ihr eigentlich die Regler ein
    Bass
    Mitten
    Höhen
für mich hört sich das so an das ihr ohne Bass und Mitten spielt und die Höhen voll aufdreht ?
    Gruß aus Deutschland
