Santa Clara University Celebrates the Feast Day of St. Ignatius (2024)

The Feast Day of St. Ignatius is annually celebrated on July 31st by Jesuit communities around the world to honor the founder of the Society of Jesus and his commitment to education, spiritual growth, and helping others find God in all things. The celebration was commemorated with a homily delivered by Fr. Luis Calero, S.J., and a campus-wide luncheon hosted by SCU’s Division of Mission and Ministry.
The Feast Day of St. Ignatius is a reminder to reflect Ignatian values and practices that help us to become people for and with others.
