I'm no trucker at all, and have no interest in rl truck driving, and I'm not ashamed to admit this......I enjoy driving my Peterbilt truck in ATS, so much. The "open road" relaxes me. The beasty engine sounds.....*chef's kiss* I can't get enough of it. The game has piqued my interest in truck-related things. So, I clicked pretty fast when I saw your video pop up. Thanks for sharing your real life experiences. It's humbling to see a piece of what you go through day to day, as a driver. Those ditches on both sides like that..!!!...in the DARK on top of it....would've had me in panic mode. LOL I'm very proud of you! This video was really enjoyable and awesome!

I definitely understand what you’re saying about the drop and hook matter, no need to get stuck like chuck Bobtailing. That look the denim look on 💯. I’m a true believer in looking professional shirt tucked in boots or shoes clean. It speaks to the public/person before you even open your mouth. Keep the rubber inflated and them doors closed, HollyWood steppin out, we’ll catch you on the flip flop!

It's always best to get the empties to where they need to go asap. That way someone else doesn't have to wait as long(that someone else could be you down the line). Also just having a bob then gives you a lot more parking flexibility and frees up the small real estate for someone that might really need it...

I just took a medical device from Minneapolis to Seattle in a cargo van. The van ended up breaking down and I had to rent a UHaul the rest of the way. It was $1900 and I got a chance to see the country. I woke up this morning like... I NEED MY CDL'S IMMEDIATELY! Channels like yours definitely help. Thank!

Man, I was at Iowa 80 as well at the same time. I can only imagine that you rolled through while I was already sleeping though.
I'll see you ain't joking about that lumper stuff. The best thing you can do is ask if they are paid hourly or if they're paid by the truck. If they're paid by the truck they get you unloaded real quick. If they paid hourly you sit there and wait and you pay an arm and a leg.
If you don't have a extra key for your truck I advise you get one so you can lock your doors when you are away from the truck
We just happen to run upon this video and literally could not stop watching. I only wish my mom could have lived to see your adventures because she loved to travel along the highway with the truckers during the hand radio Era. My husband and I enjoyed your narration so much that we are traveling along with you now. P. S. You are a damn good driver too!

I love the camera angles that you have because it clearly shows your backing in your mirrors. I’m having problems with backing to pass my CDL test. I was excited at first but now I’ve lost motivation.
Just take your time, Try not to overthink and keep a positive mindset. I also struggled when it came to backing during My Cdl test.. You got this!
Don't lose the motivation I was in the same spot I learned to drive the trailer not the truck when backing up to docks are parking and Don't hesitate to find an empty area and play around with the movements of the trailer did it for the 6 months at every rest area I could find before I got comfortable at the Truck stops I hit the parking spots now others won't because I know I can now hope this helps
