And I believe that Arlene was privy to the extent of his cancer, as close friends usually are. She was very sweet in the exchange at 1:26, knowing that he wouldn't be around forever and wanting to let him know how much she loved him.
Arlene was a class act. She and Dorothy were really intelligent contestants. One of my fav old contest shows.

Bennet Cerf doesn't look well here. He died in 1971 so might have been shortly before that.
