I really don't understand their rating sytem
I think this anime is so extremely underrated because there is literally one popular meme out on the internet. Tbh honest this anime was recommended multiple times to me but I didn't watched it because I thought it was your standard highschool anime, and that's nothing of interest to me. Now that I started I can't stop watching

Anime is not underrated. The first part was good, but the second part wasn’t the best.
This anime deserved at least a 20-episode season.

It was still a happy ending. The part that made me cry a lot was the death of her sister. I didn't see that coming. I didn't expect it. I thought she will be saved. I watched without a clue so while the main character suffers, it also pains me. I feel like I also lost a sister. I cried so hard from the part where her death was announced until Tomori cooked for him and he was back. I felt so happy that he managed to save his sister.
I watched this AMV and then the anime and her death still touched me as you describe. I saw it coming, but the way it happened was so unexpected and sad.

Charlotte is one of the best animes I've ever seen. It's truly incredible. I'm not a person who easily cries over stuff like this, but Charlotte, Violet Evergarden and Nagi no Asukara are a few of the anime series that made bawl my eyes out

The only thing I wished is that they split episode 13 into a season 2.
I think that would get boring because Yu basically becomes a god that could never be beat. I personally think it was a good call not stretching out episode 13
@@spring1281 maybe a season it's to much, but one episode is to short to tell all. I think they could do a film or 5/6 more episodes, to tell also the situation of the other character while yu is around the globe and if yu regain is memories or not at the end

This anime really need season 2!
Why? The end of the series perfectly resolved the primary conflicts and provided a clean-cut out for all the characters. There's nothing with which to continue the series. There's nothing else to explore. The important characters had resolved their arcs sufficiently, the important groups/plot points had all been closed or otherwise resolved. It wouldn't make sense to make a second season.
However, a reboot that expanded the story so that the pacing isn't so fisheyed towards the end, that'd be nice. But, only if we had the same cast and crew across the board.
They could create another comet that would infect adults. In this way, characters can be left to themselves, but are they adults, a good idea? I apologize for the mistakes but translate it in the translator, because my English is not very good

the thing that scared me the most was the idea that like in many other animes in this situation she could have said she was just a friend and suffer quietly, but luckily she was honest and that cheered me up

Usually, I get over anime and change my opinion about how good they are really quickly, but it's been almost 2 years since I've seen Charlotte, and I've rewatched it multiple times. But it's always the same. This anime is truly amazing

This show gave me so much emotion, I really want more episodes, it first started out happy and funny but than it gradually got way better, it got sadder. Yuu was actually willing to sacrifice who he was for everyone. His personality changed so much from episode 1. He had lots of character development. Overall, this is one of the best anime ever and is personally one of my favorite out of the many anime I watched.
This really deserves for views and likes.

But it is unfair, he sacrificed his memories and life... to collect all those powers. And at the end he forgot everything. how sad, but i think he have a happy ending though he forgot his crush. just.... 😂

Pretty sure you didn't get the ending. He didn't die. His memories and who he was were erased, but the feelings behind his memories remained and that was what was important.
If you felt sad for him, then you really didn't understand the series at all. His sacrifice was large, but what he received in return was even more meaningful: his life and his love could survive, as could all the lives he saved/changed by collecting the powers of ability users. One kid stopped tens of thousands from being tortured, or used as weapons; and his own future, formerly a self-interested chasm of materialism, became something meaningful.
If you ask me, the loss of his memories was for the best. Do you remember the tragedy he faced? The number of friends he'd seen killed or tortured? The loss he'd felt when his sister died? Memories of a life he didn't live, but a life he couldn't forget, either. That shit doesn't create healthy adults. He came home to a safe environment that loved him, and was willing to nurture him to health, and to see him on his way to a better future. Brother got a second chance at living his best life, and he gets to walk away from tragedy totally clean.

I know that there are tons of people talking shit (No offense) about it's ending. But seriously literally no-one is talking about the character development.
MC was a normal dude and one day he learns that he can posses anyone's body for few seconds and basically what will you do when you such amazing power in your school years, simple you will do cheating in exams obviously I mean what else would a normal person would do it is the perfect power for students. (like me 😂) And in the first episode he tried to impress a girl by using his power to threaten her life by making a truck and then save her. But by the end of the anime he sacrificed his memories and travel around the whole world just because he promised his lover.
In short: In starting he was like a mean dude who just want fame and glory by using his powers even if one time it nearly caused a girls life just to save her and impress her. Then, what do you expect? He will be like this all the time, Right?
NOOOOOOOO! He changed into a person who could sacrifices his life to save others and also for a promise from his lover.

His character development was outstanding. He went from bad to good to very bad(when his sister died) and at last to a very good guy saving the whole world

His depression only lasted for like 2 seconds tho. Would have like it to drag a little longer and for him to show more of his powers at the end. It rushed too much.
It's not like they were gonna leave us on a cliffhanger and not let us know if he looted all the powers or not.
