Could you do a similar trick to the holocrons where you use an RFID fob instead of the crystal? Assuming you could find a fob that fit in the slot and pressed the button down
@@jandno9124 Which video is that? I programmed an RFID fob instead but even if I put it where the crystal is supposed to go, it does not get detected by the lightsaber (unlike the EM4305 from the previous video)
I'm going in September, gonna sneak in a crystal reprogramed for teal. I want to see if anything interesting happens during the initializing process. I doubt it, but ya never know. If it's blue they'll never know what I done
That sounds like a problem with the blade. Have you tried changing the batteries? If they are low I could see that happening, else the blade may be malfunctioning.
@@JosiahDaMessiah You just press in and twist on the bottom of the hilt and they come out then you have to take out a screw to access the batteries, there has to be a youtube video about it somewhere.
I’m going to Disneyland soon and I was wondering if changing the kyber crystal changes the color of the saber too? Example: you have a blue kyber crystal that you chose in savis but later on you want a purple one, would a purple kyber crystal make a purple blade? And a blue a blue blade and so on?
The actual color does not matter of the crystal, they all have the same chip inside but they are programmed differently. You can change it to whatever character you want and the color will be whatever the character's color is.
Hey i saw ur RFID reader writer with the red interface online but i dont see that weird circle thing u had at the beginning can this whole process work with fob Keys?
That was a magnet that you saw in the beginning of the video. I just didn't want to put the switch on to turn on the lightsaber. The key fobs can work but you have to shave them down to fit in the hilt and place them parallel to the bottom of the chamber where the rfid coil is.

Do you know if you can change the color of the legacy blades, like making Vader's blade blue or Ahsoka's red for example?
It would require extra hardware like an arduino with a custom blade holder

I programmed my Red kyber to be a Black, however after that I can't change it to any other color now? Any suggestions? (At least it's still red).

Josiah Bauss mine does that to I had a white one then it changed to yellow then back to white

What are you talking about? The legacy lightsabers? If so then no you can't change the colors unless you modify the internals.
