INSW might be worth a look. Bouncing back up along with the other tanker cos but was really cheap a week or so ago. Pays a reg dividend plus special variable one that averages to about 14%.
I don't understand at all why you are suggesting buying GSBD now, as the share price has tanked since June, where it had been relatively stable for the year prior to that. I am waiting for the share price to bottom out before buying, and then also seeing what happens to the dividend payout at that point.
Yes, GSBD has been paying very consistent dividends for 10 years but the price is down over 16% in the last year and over 40% the last 5 years. Even with a 14% yield, you would have lost money. Too risky for me. Thanks for your videos!
I sold my Delek US holdlings shares a few weeks ago for the tax loss and bought DKL. More than a month has passed so I can buy my shares back again I hope at a lower price. DK was hit so hard because the low gas prices lead to bad crack spreads in the US gulf region. I am going to be like a gambling addict chasing my losses on this one by doubling down. But you can't be a contrarian investor without doing it.
Thank you so much for this amazing video! I have a quick question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
Merry Christmas - Happy New Year Samuel. I commented to Jussi Askola - that I just subscribed to High Yield Landlord. Thank you for your accessible presentation.
I'll buy DK with a covered call. I prefer AGNC over GSBD for the 14% dividend. AGNC has good weekly call- and put-options to juice the return and offset a price drop.
Another great video Samuel. I always press the Like and leave a comment. It is the small thing I can do to appreciate and promote your channel. Great work man! Wishing Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your loved ones. Throwing an idea: perhaps you can cover SVOL at some point? it is a unique instrument yielding 15%+. I wonder what your thoughts of it are. Have you considered it?
Thank you so much for your support! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you as well! I am not a fan of SVOL as an instrument for creating long-term wealth or even sustainable income because it is just a bet on future market patterns. I prefer to bet on actual profitable businesses that grow in value over time while also throwing off cash flow to me as a dividend.
@@SamuelDividends Thanks so much for taking the time (especially today) to reply to me. What you say makes a lot of sense. I didn't actually think of it this way. You just gave me something to think about. Thanks.
To bad you don't want to cover SVOL! The "safety" in trading SVOL, ZVOL, XVOL and the like lies in their difference to other assets OR, to but it differently,, they'll be around as long as there's a stock market because they're basically "volatility insurance". SVOL's strategy has already proven itself in "muddy waters". Even ZVOL which has an even higher payout than SVOL but no "downside" protection whatsoever is a consideration because you can create your own safety net by allocating 90% into ZVOL and 10% into UVXY (leveraged ETF which's share price rises with higher volatility plus it's optionable with juicy premiums). I wouldn't go all in on volatility investments but I think they are a good 10 to 20% allocation for a income portfolio.

Nah, in the BDC space, which is riskier than most other stocks, stick to the safest options - long MAIN, ARCC and OBDC
Thank you for sharing your opinion.
MSDL? this looks promising, may I know your thoughts? thanks .Merry Christmas
I like it a lot
Thank you
