Even though I’m pretty damn new to Skylanders and I don’t have the same nostalgia as most, I’m still happy to see that something is happening with this franchise and it’s light hasn’t faded just yet

the fact that it's anything is a miracle and a half, I really hope toys for bob is working on something with the series, something that's been kind of clear is skylanders is TFB's baby and they're not afraid to hide it, they saw what the series could become but because they were so successful with their baby it caused it to burn out faster and people lost interest in it and other people's attempts. even in modern days we still see skylanders stuff implemented into their games like with spyro reignited having one of the dragons you save holding an hourglass trap or the eruptor balloon in off beat in crash 4 or even the undead element symbol being on a mariachi hat in CTRumble, it's their baby and they will always care for their baby
They could also make figures of the NPC’s like Flynn. They haven’t any figures besides certain NPC’s like glumshanks and Flynn in mega blocks sets, so it would be really cool seeing some of them in figure form.

As someone from the Youtooz community, I can say that licensed collabs usually come with 2 - 4 figures per wave, with only some of the really big collabs like spider-man and stuff getting 5-6 per wave. However they always do a second wave if the first sells enough, which im sure will be the case after seeing peoples reactions to the announcement, so more characters will probably keep releasing over time until either Activision chooses not to renew their license or they stop selling well
Personally I’d really enjoy these picks from each game, 1.) Ignitor 2.) Pop Fizz 3.) Blast Zone(Maybe they have Wash Buckler too and they can Swap) 4.) Wild Fire 5.)Hot Streak 6.) Painyatta A majority of these picks will most likely not happen but it would still be pretty cool.

it's fairly common for Youtooz to say what IPs they are working with, how many items will be released, & what the items are, with the reasoning being "the manufacturing logs are gong to leak it anyway", they do keep the specific caricters being made secret tho since all of the items are just numbers in the manufacturing log (I also don't Chill Bill coming until wave 3-4, with the main characters from Skylanders Academy getting priority)
