For contracts you can save money on equipment rentals by using the equipment from one contract to do others. Just don't complete the one you borrow the equipment on before completing them all. So you could borrow a harvester and do several harvesting contracts as long as the equipment you borrowed works with the crops. Or you could mow several fields with the same borrowed mower.
@@VirtualFarmer yeah the time limit I don’t like, it’s annoying how they’ve added that back in. You feel rushed again like you were in FS17. That’s a downside for me on the contracts. Wood contracts get 50+hrs While a baling contract gets 12hrs. like they are really wanting you to do the wood contracts. that’s how it seems when I look at it. I did a parsnips contract, and it had 21hrs on it. Now the parsnips machine does it in rows, so it takes a while. In the end I failed the contract because it took too long. The carrots contract. It’s a disaster. You have to have a trailer beside the machine all the time. That’s a bummer.
On FS22, repainting and repairing will net you a higher sale price than the cost of repainting and repairing a piece of equipment. For example, you have a tractor worth 10,000, it costs 5,000 to repaint and 1,000 to repair, so instead of settling for 10,000 sale price, you pay 6,000 more make your tractor shiny again and then the updated selling price is 17,000. For FS25, it seems they changed things a bit, but the above example is a way that you should be able to do make a little extra on equipment sales just like FS22.
Be careful using AI to do contracts with rented equipment… just got a 49k penalty after running out of time harvesting green beans. AI was very inefficient and only made it to around 61%. Penalty was due to lost product, contract was only worth around 7k, so that was a HARD hit.
Does this really work with keeping the excess. It was nice in fs22 but in fs25 when i reach the 100% i cant harvest anymore. At least not with leased Equipment cause the game counts the contract to be fullfilled already.
You missed the part where if you’re doing seasonal cycles, the productions may take longer to produce a pallet, Like FS22. Also the generators / solar panels work the same way. They’ll give you a monthly salary instead of a per day salary. If you’re doing 28 day seasons or whatever.
First farm game I've played and loving it, well except i just bought a new field with carrots ready to harvest on it, leased the carrot harvester my god so bloody slow, ai spent 2 days harvesting this damn field while i was planting potatoes on 3 other fields
Also looks like if you pick up 3 mowing contracts you can hire the equipment once and use it on all 3 contracts. Not tried it but saw on another YT channel
That does work, just don't collect the one you borrowed the equipment on or it will disappear. It works for any contract that uses the same equipment, harvesting, stone picking, etc. Just make sure it's the right equipment for any follow up contracts.
You should watch how the hired worker works in FS25 they apparently are now more intelligent when it comes to farm edges. That Riverbend map is a bit full of frippery for my liking, still evaluating it though.
Hey Virtual Farmer. A little nice feuture tip. When you buy and place the karcher power washer. YOu can actually enter it and move it around as an vhiecle. Couldnt do that in FS22 but can in FS25 ;)
How is this how to make money if first tip is to start with bunch free stuff an the tip is sell said items an make money lol this has to be the worst guide ive ever seen. How to make money in fs 25 choose easy mode farm manager an sell everything they give you for free. wow. why even bother playing or grinding if your just gonna cheat the money might as well use government sign an give yourself as much money as you want since this isnt a video on how to earn an make money but rather how to sell items in game. Cant wait for ppl to actually show how to make money by actually playing the game and farming lol all these start from scratch hard mode an they start with land, vehicles and million dollars how is that starting from scratch? How is that in any way hard? If your gonna start woth all that stuff might as well play on farm manager or easy mode Creative mode farmers acting like there playing hard mode lol so called guides an tutorials that teach you how to sell vehicle an claims its how to make money naw thats just selling tractor for 1 time payment then what what you gonna do for money after you sell all your free equipment lol
Thanks for the feedback. The first tip wasn't just about selling the starting equipment but selling any equipment in the game you no longer need. It also applies to any building that comes included with any land you buy. You'd be surprised at how many people hold on to things they no longer use and could make money from selling otherwise. Personally, I start most of my games starting from scratch with no land or equipment, and these are all ways that I look to earn extra money to make my farm grow quicker.

This is a good tip, although you need to make sure there is enough time to get all the contracts done.

@@VirtualFarmer so far I haven't had an issue running out of time yet but that's a good point.
I love the cuts on loading the logs with the crane, because it takes forever haha. going up when trying to go down and spinning and dropping
The combine was paying 51k at the shop, you repainted for 14k
And sold for 61k am I missing something or that’s not a good idea
Shop pays less than it shows (for used vehicles apparently), so he wouldn't have gotten the 51k either way.
@@TheBod76 yes but still he payed 14k for repaint, is it worth it? That’s my question.
I’ll test later on a new save and post here the prices.
It's still worth it, but it only gives a small bump to the price overall. The new value vs sell price in FS25 is a bit confusing though.
51456 + 14309 (paint) + 606 (repair) = 66371. So.. 67863 - 66371 = 1492 more. And then U got 61693 .I don't get it...

It's definitely worth keeping an eye on the Ai if you're using it for contracts.
I do wish the greenhouse required seeds and fertilizer. I think Giants missed an opportunity here.
I really liked the advanced greenhouses in the Orchards And Greenhouses mod for FS22, hopefully they bring those over to 25
Why its cheaper
@@minoslubecause it's boring
@@MikoOhneHose Agreed, it's just an "add water" same as the mushrooms, I want to have to buy spores and spray the mushrooms to keep them damp.

With harvesting it works because it's not 100% until you deliver the product. So you harvest the entire field before you deliver it all.

Yep. Good point
Good vid VF; a good combo of all five of these techniques is my way to go as well and gives variety to get your farm going I find.
Is it similar to what was the case in farming simulator 2022?
Yep. Most of these can be applied to FS22 as well.
Do i get more from greenhouse while activating several veggies?
I think it divides the production time between them.
The cut in the vid not showing you cutting the length on the logs why? What didn't you want us seeing?
Nope, just that that wasn't the videos focus. I will be covering that in a later one though.
Easiest is to get solar panels real quick, wait and buy more.
Doesn't get easier then that. 😂

I did a whole guide on the Ai Workers. They're really quite impressive: ua-cam.com/video/vJB1dNWYjkA/v-deo.html

The first I always do is sell buildings especially machine sheds
Exactly. It's amazing how many people don't think to do this.
