Hello, your video gave me the confidence to replace a part that the bumper is held in position by. As it happens I needed to remove both lights as a bumper flange neatly tucks up behind the bottom of each light. Thank you. The interesting part was to remove a plastic support that was pot rivetted onto the bumper. Cold chisel and hammer job. Talk about overkill. The replacement part is held in with a nut and bolt. On reassembly the only thing that caught me out was not using forgetting the loner screws go at the bottom of the wheel arch as there is a plastic spacer requiring a longer screw. Comments: The lights have two plastic locator lugs on the outside that mimic the screws on the inside. Therefore you need to pull the lights off directly backwards to avoid breaking. The bumper can be removed single handed if supported in the middle. Would not suggest doing so if windy. The special bumper fixings (under the protector) come out easily and if you leave the centre in, once raised with two small screwdrivers (or finger nails) and wiggle the base they will come out with ease (mine did). No special tool needed. Thanks again. Another 10 minute job completed :)
Fab Video but I don't have the tread plate... Can you please advise as I really need to get the bumper off and thanks so very much for all of your uploads. they have help me on many occasion and are very informative...
hi check around the end for screws / do you have mudflaps. You need to give the side "wings" a proper sharp pull for them to release from the side docks
Yes you can fit the Sport L320 2010 Autobiography on you car www.powerfuluk.com/vehicles/range-rover-evoque-sport/sport-2010/2010-autobiography-parts/range-rover-sport-2010-autobiography-rear-bumper-complete.html In stock - you will need to also add exhausts but this is a straight swap
Any chance of pointing me in the right direction to remove Rangerover L494 sport rear bumper. Cannot find a thing on internet. Any help would be most appreciated , thanks T
