Failing to do so will cause you to sustain damage. Dozer: It looks like a yellow smiling face. When it appears, it will do so on the middle of your screen, with its eyes closed. To avoid it, stay still and crouch. If you are not doing this by the time it opens its eyes, it will instantly finish your run. Sorrow: The ceiling will be illuminates red and a quiet rumbling will be heard. To survive it, you need to go under a solid object (such as some hiding spots). Doorframes count as solid objects. If you do not reach one in time, your run will end instantly. Goatman: There are two ways for it to appear: 1. Running out of time. In this case, keep running towards the end (or do not run out of time). 2. Opening the vault that leads to the break room. In this case, get inside immediately. In both cases, it will not appear instantly, however your screen will become saturated and the words "HI:DE:NOW" will appear on your screen. After some seconds, it will get to you and instantly end your run.
With the goat man, if you're quick, you can turn around and flash it with your flashlight to give you a little more time. You can do it more than once.
