This was a good and brief summary. What would have happened to Christ if he had not been crucified and if no atonement had been made, including the prophesies from Isaiah 53 which would then not have been fulfilled?
The statement that dispensationalism was introduced by Darby is patently false if anyone has taken the time to study dispensationalism. Darby may have organized the thoughts into a systematized theology but dispensational thoughts and ideas (such as a restored natural Israel) were around a long time before Darby. So to say he came up with an entirely different theology about Israel than was held by "the church" for 1800 years is an ignorant and unresearched statement. This has been pointed out so many times that, at this point, it is a willful ignorance on the part of covenant theologians.
Tks Gregg
Thanks!!

Pastor Gregg, what do you think influenced the advent of the Dispensational thought?
