at 2019 7 national parties ,52 state party and 2354 registered unrecognised party
At 2014 election 6 national parties and 47 state parties
So it's mean... State parties have different symbols in every state?? And they have to adopt a complete new symbol after recognised as National Party??
Thanku sir
there are 7 recognised national party ....BJP>BSP>CPI>CPI(M)>INC>NCP before 2016 and at 2016 AITC added
Thank you so much sir ☺️
Thank you so much sir
Thank u sir🙏🙏
Sometimes of the political parties in country are actually crazy! I had to visit a political party office for some reason and somehow they had a great hint that I was coming to see them, first they made me wait for a very long time (inspite of no other visitors being there), then they asked me to come to a room and some thugs tried to intimidate me (I still don't why?) I wasn't scared so they backed off and I wanted to leave, just when I was about to leave the premises they sent a really large dog after me (thinking it would bite me or shred me into pieces) the dog was barking all aggressive etc, when it came near me, it softened up and started playing with me. You should have seen the look on those guys faces 😂😁😂😁 I hope those idiots didn't do anything to that dog.
Cheers
Nice explanation
Thank you soo much sir ♥️😁

Thanku sir.

Thanks Sir
You teach very nice sir 👌
I have one question
If party in present Lok Sabha not fulfill conditions of state and national party
Then in next election state party and national party tag will remove or not?
Remove
Sir @15:07 it is not the screenshot of the RoP Act, 1951.. rather it is the Symbols Order, 1968 as amended in 2000, 2005 and 2011
sir as explained in the above lecture it was said that one symbol may be given to the two state parties of different states.
but in case if any one party between them becomes a national party then which one will get that symbol?
same problem bro
Same confusion
Definitely national party
If the candidates of two parties having the same symbol are pitted against each other in the same constituency then, as per provisions of Para 12 of the Symbols Order, 1968, “free symbols” will be allotted to both the contestants.
national party will get but
National and state party Can decide to have same symbol
Example -
The leaders -- including AGP general secretary Atul Bora and Dr Prabin Chandra Sarma, BSP chief Kanshi Ram, Ezhilmalai of the PMK and the SSP's Dr S Ram Das -- met in New Delhi to decide on the issue of symbol . They also decided that if the AGP contests election in states other than Assam, the PMK outside Pondicherry and the SSP outside Sikkim, they would not do so under the same symbol.
Today.. Total national parties are 8.. National people's party from meghalaya has got national party status .. It's a first party to do so in north east..
And you don't stress on what's needed and stress on the same thing already stressed. It gets monotonous.
At 2014 general election national party , BJP, Inc,bsp, CPI, CPI (m), NCP
but in Lakshmikant last term is not mentioned.. ?? can anyone clarify this
As per 17th Gen election of 2019...there are 8 National (BSP ,BJP,CPI,CPIM,,INC,NCP, AITC,NPP )and 52 state parties...............
As per 16 th Gen election of 2014 ...there were 6 National and 47 State parties..
As per 15th Gen election of 2009......there were 7 National and 40 state parties.....
what are the benefits of registered unrecognised parties? someone please help:)
Why r u not starting separate course for polity...???
BSP, BJP, CPI, CPM, INC, NCP, AITC, NPP as per 2019
Sir if BSP wants to contest elections in Assam it will have to change the party symbol , Since AGP in Assam has the symbol ?
National parties: (8) at present......7 in 2019 general elections
As of 2020 8 national party in india - Inc, bjp, npp, cpi, bsp, aitc , cpi-m, ncp
9:16 Video Starts
National parties 2019- BSP,BJP,CPI,CPI(M),INC,NCP,AITC,NPP
2014-BSP,BJP,CPI ,CPI(M),INC,NCP, AITC
2009-INC,CPI
National party list list present , BJP, Inc, BSP, CPI ,cpi(m), NCP, Aitc, NPP

I'm also doing this...
Sir.. I got a doubt...Is local governance/panchayati system/zilla parishad ceased to work under presidents rule (Article 356) in the state or the same remains intact...
Read article 243G and then article 356[1](a) and focus on last lines,i hope you would get your answers
President can "assume to himself all or any of the functions of the Government of the State and all or any of the powers vested in or exercisable by the Governor"(A-356).
Local government, Panchayats and Parishads are part of 3rd tier of the government. Question remains, whether this 3rd tier is a subset of State Government? If it has a separate existence from State, then no.
Ek party ek se zyada state mai election jeete to recognise un sbhi states mai hogi kya ?
Yes
Present sir Sona from jammu
8 recognised national parties - TMC, BSP , BJP ,CPI , CPI(M) , INC , NPP , NCP
It starts 9:20
Sir please bataiye na ki cursive writing is necessary for UPSC cse please sir I need ur suggestion
not necessary, can write in any format.
NO !
If BSP takes part in ASSAM LS election where AGP is a regional party then will it violate d criteria for ' symbol of national party is reserved throughout Ind'?
Kindly reply all
I was also searching for the same, please let me know , if you found the answer for it.
Bahujan Samaj Party is a National Party (Last general Election) with ELEPHANT as Party Symbol
Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) is a state Party in ASSAM with ELEPHANT
HOW is it possible according to the RPA 1951, with BSP Being a National Party, ELEPHANT is now a reserved symbol
The leaders -- including AGP general secretary Atul Bora and Dr Prabin Chandra Sarma, BSP chief Kanshi Ram, met in New Delhi to decide on the issue. They also decided that if the AGP contests election in states other than Assam, it would not do so under the same symbol.
*So this dispute has been resolved by consensus*
Yes sir focusing on words is must 👍👍
Start kijiye sir
ROP act sound like aaropi act .... Anyhow thanku sir....great lecture
😂😂
Same 😂😂
RESPECTED SIR,PLEASE TELL ME,WHETHER RIGHT TO VOTE,RIGHT TO CONTEST ARE LEGAL RIGHTS OR NOT?
Right to vote is a constitutional right.
Thank you sir for the amazing session
At 25:10, for everyone's kind information sir told that conditions for recognition as a national and state party given in RP Act 1951 which is not correct.... these conditions are given in The Election Symbols (Reservation and Allotment) Order, 1968. I think the unnoticed wrong information may prove to be a disaster in examination.
Very true...
You are right shashank
Election symbols order comes under the RP act 1951 @26:15
@@apeksharonad6801 🤣 destroyed in seconds
4th point to batavo state party ka
Sir BSP is a national party, entitled to exclusive election symbol.
Then how Asom Gana Parishad can use elephant as their symbol??
AGP can use it ('exclusive allotment') only in Assam. But if in future BSP expands to Assam and decides to contest state elections than don't really know!
If the candidates of two parties having the same symbol are pitted against each other in the same constituency then, as per provisions of Para 12 of the Symbols Order, 1968, “free symbols” will be allotted to both the contestants.
@@rknsa7873 Please

Please someone clarify if you know, how state party in one state will become state party in another state? what symbol will it use while contesting election? sir told that shiv sena is not entitled to use its symbol in other state... suppose if it contest election in other state what symbol will it use
Election Commission entitles them with a symbol to contest elections from a list (available in the EC data). However the party can refuse to keep that symbol and choose for a new one.
Recent example is of ShivSena in Bihar elections.
It refused the given symbol and got a new one!
And when it comes to whether a registered state party can become a state party in another state: It must fulfill the minimum conditions to be a state party.
Note: If a state party is able to become a state party in 4 states, it becomes eligible for a national party with a fixed symbol and other benefits ( just like free Aakashvani Service to advertise during elections.)
@@SG-qm4np actually the statement given by sir generated confusion... sir said shiv sena cannot use its symbol in other states but the case is that it can use because every state party's symbol is in reserved symbol list of EC which cannot be used by other... so it can use in other states also.. by the way thanks for clarifying :)
🙏
Sir is recognized and registered party one and the same thing . In laxmikanth i found another term registered unrecognized party ... I am comfused now ..
You might get registered but for getting recognised you need to fulfill 6A or 6B condition(s). Just like sir has said it is performance based the national party or state party status could be stripped of based on the performance of the parties in the last election non the less you are still registered!
@@nershwnbasumatary9754 thanks for the information... 😊
Sir has told the advantages for registered parties but under that he only talked about recognized party advantages. Does that mean registered unrecognized party dont get any benefit?
@@nimeshdwivedi3114 i have the same doubt. Did u find the answer yet? please help
Total 9 national parties
(Bahujan samaj party )have a symbol of ELEPHANT and it is a national party . In assam (Asom gana parishad ) also have a symbol of ELEPHANT .

Sir I came up with a provision which dealt with the issue of recognition political party which somehow contradicted with the video. Can you kindly clarify.
Loss of Recognised Status:
Once recognised as a national or a state party, a political party loses its given status only if it fails to fulfil any of the conditions for two successive Assembly and two successive Lok Sabha elections.
That means a party retains that status irrespective of its performance in the next elections.
