My god where did that come from ! So powerful, growly and raspy voice with so much passion ! Janis Joplin has returned ! The nuances and inflections ! You don't what's coming next ! It's like scat singing with words ! Between her voice and the guitar licks it's mesmorizing ! My god I haven't anything like this for long long time ! She screams at you with such passionate love !! That is about 16 years ago, she is now 49 and still performs with the same passion and voice, she is also very talented musician plays multiple instruments and composes much of her own music, she wrote this one in her teens, she and her band tour Europe frequently, they are very popular there.

Just read her Wikipedia page and it just proves once again how many great artists there are out there and performing around the world....unless you are an ardent follower of a genre or of a knowledgeable artist like Joe Bonamassa things like this remain a shock. She wrote this song when she was 15 and performed this song as a contestant on Star Search in 1993. TV singing contestants from around the world are still singing this song.

Hola CECI. Es muy bueno conocer gente nueva y "Beth Hart" es explosiva en el escenario y con una tremenda voz rasgada como hacia mucho tiempo no escuchaba así en una mujer. When I saw you use the fan I thought "no va a ser sufficiente". Beth has many great songs. She does 2 amazing covers of "I'd rather go blind" (bien para compara con la version de Angelina Jordan?), one in Amsterdam with Joe Bonamasso and one at The Kennedy Center Honors for Buddy Guy, with guitarist Jeff Beck. She also has many fantastic original songs. If Angelina is Jazz, Beth is Blues.

It's almost strange to hear her musicality and vocal abilities inside all the passionate expression, but those are the things she uses to hold it together. Great reaction Ceci. She goes over the top with her interactions with the audience on this one and it really makes for a wild performance. She puts maximum emotion and engagement into every song she does in concert. You have to check out her performance of "I'd Rather Go Blind" that she did with the amazing jazz/blues guitarist Joey Bonamassa live in Amsterdam. It is a really great, interpretive rendition of the song - ua-cam.com/video/UEHwO_UEp7A/v-deo.html. Not quite as suggestive as this one. More PG rated.

Again, great reaction. The way you nearly fall off your chair (3:22 mark) as Beth belts out, like water exploding from a firehose, "Am I The One" for the first time. You could tell she was phenomenal before she even started--in fact, you stopped it within the first 5 seconds of her first vocalization! Great technical comments--yes, she does a dozen masterful techniques and improvisations in the first minute alone. (Actually, it's even better than that because the YT clip you used here cut off about 90 introductory seconds where she comes down from the stage and into the audience--ua-cam.com/video/hZG3MghkX3Q/v-deo.html). Please react more of her work (with her own band or with Joe Bonamassa)...see my other comment for suggestions.

Esto fue antes, o alrededor de la época en que le diagnosticaron trastorno bipolar. Por eso tiene ese estado como completamente fuera de sí en cierta forma, que es genial para una performance como esta, pero ta, habla de un estado de salud mental no necesariamente en perfectas condiciones. Me encantaría ver qué te parece Caught Out in the Rain Live at the Royal Albert Hall. Esta y esa que digo las tengo en mis favoritos porque son especiales
