Wow. This is one of the best travel videos I have ever watched. I love that you include maps, commentary, and terrific cinematography. Really beautiful job.
thank you for your vids. You have earned a few likes and a subscribe from me. Northern spain is heaven on earth, yet too few see it or film it like yourselves. Thank you.
One of the best travel videos I've seen of N. Spain. Your narratioon is excellent and helps the viewer understand the place. It also makes your video more interesting to watch. Good job on this video!
oh your videos are super informative. Would love to find what route you took in your rental. My husband and I are booked for next April and doing so much of the same in a car as you have done. Thank you Owen, New Zealand
That’s exciting that your heading to Spain in April! That should be a lovely time to visit 😍. We picked up the rental car in Madrid and headed slowly to Vigo in Galicia (stopping at Ávila, Sierra de Gredos National Park, and Salamanca on the way). We drove north along the coastline of Galicia with a visit to Santiago de Compostela, before heading back inland towards Léon. Astorga is a nice stop over on the way to Léon. Afterwards we headed to Lagos de Saliencia for a beautiful hike and then to the popular Picos de Europa National Park. We then hit up Comillas, Santander, Burgos, Bilbao and San Sebastián. We switched gears and did more hiking / camping so visited the national parks of Ordesa y Monte Perido, Mont-rebei gorge, and Aigüestortes i Estany of Saint Maurici National Park. We finished our time with a stop over in Zaragoza before returning the car in Madrid. Haha long trip but we have more details in our other videos. Hope you enjoy them!
@@LukeandTylerTravel Damn. Maybe that's not unusual mid-summer because when I've seen them the level was much higher. Although the last couple of summers have gotten drier and drier
Woww mi padre biológico es de ahi. Siento tanta coneccion con ese lugar. Mis raíces! ❤️Siento que en otra vida me casé en esa iglesia. ⛪️ Estoy loca de conocer a mi familia! 😍

Oh, Thank you so much for that. Very kind of you. The other videos were just as inspiring. We look forward to the joy of Spain. O and P New Zealand
@@philipsimms6405 enjoy! We are hoping to visit New Zealand in the next couple years.
@@LukeandTylerTravel Well maybe we can guide you in that. ;-)
The level of those lakes were superlow. Clearly the weather in most of Europe this summer has been very dry.
This was filmed last year but given the weather this summer I imagine it may be similar or worse this year.

Arronti Cantabria!!
Do you recommend getting a car rental?
We do! This area of Spain is not well connected by public transport, especially if you want to explore some of the more rural areas
WHERE in Northern Spain could you happily spend a month or more?
Definitely Asturias. Would love to leisurely explore this area a bit more. So much to do!
