Gotta be honest.. I love the visuals, the voice acting, the world concept and all but this is the first ever time that I LITERALLY FELL ASLEEP playing a game. Spent 8+ hours playing it and IT WAS NOT FUN AT ALL. So sad to say but this is probably not for me but at least I tried.
The thing with ZZZ is it actually has competition as compared to hoyoverse's other games. Put that on top of the fact that Wuwa came out before it and that game actively spoiled players especially with the choice to pick your desired standard not once but twice. On top of that you have games with things they all specifically offer. Aether Gazer gives offers full on ultimate animations if you have specific team comps. Punishing Gray Raven has a well made gacha system with weapons being garunteed instead of 50/50 75/25. Even Honkai Impact 3rd has something with a wonderfully made story and amazing character designs despite most of them just being characters in different clothes. On top of that they even offer characters for free from time to time and these are both Hoyoverse games- With all this competition its just like, what does ZZZ have to offer that all these games haven't already done?
The character design is . . . not appealing. I don't understand why anyone would want to spend on this game when you have characters like Firefly or Jinshi

It's a good game, I recommend, I'm only a old Honkay 3rd players so the style today is repetitive to me. I'm now stuck with Genshin for 3 years praying for good changes and Wuthering Waves.

if this game come BEFORE WUWA, this game will defintely be a hit cause the unique combat mechanic like switch parry and evade parry is new, but WUWA have both + 1 attack counter. there other issue but ZZZ IS NOT A TRASH, i personally enjoy, i know its not for everyone but u can choose to play or not

Yes it is. - can't use/see the characters players pull for in the main overworld/hub, in a gacha game no less - infantile plot with no actual mature stakes - enemies are jokes that stand around doing nothing - the combat system incentivises button mashing - the TV mechanic is a permanent boring annoyance present in all combat modes - half the cast are either lolis or furries - they're shoe-horning the cringe 2000s hip-hop thematic into literally everything with forced 'rap' soundbits And... actually, maybe just scrap the whole game. It's a lost cause.
The games good. It's not an open world game so you cannot really compare that aspect with wuwa. The combat is fun but not as good as wuwas combat. But I have to give it to hoyo for the incredible optimisation, music, voice acting and characters. They did an amazing job overall.
@@zippo718 I just like seeing how these game shape up. I thought Genshin and HSR were kind of mediocre at launch, too. I don't spend money on them so I'm not too worried about it. If I end up dropping the game it's not a big deal but for now I'm going to play it and progress to the end game
Personally, I like WuWa 100x more. I could tell that the combat in WuWa was going to be interesting since even from the very start, you can look at the mechanics a character has and tell that it takes some involvement to use them. It just has more potential. ZZZ does have very good cutscenes and the interactions between the characters are good. The story presentation is super well polished too. However if I don't like the fundamental gameplay of a game, it's not for me. I gave it a couple hours before dropping the game.

@831n9 there is no tv system in wuwa that is already a win. If I want to beat up bad guys in wuwa I can do it for hours without a single dialog or tv.
