My anxiety levels just weren't high enough this month...so I decided to take on 2 famous UA-camrs in an ultimate makeover challenge. 3 models + 3 hours + 3 Stylists who specialize in 3 different things...who's the winner? You choose. Glam Girl Gabi vs. Justin Hickox vs. Styles by Summer. We worked on 3 gorgeous models over the age of 50 to see who could win this youtube game competition. The hairstylists of youtube videos just got A LOT more dramatic!

Everyone did a great job! However, I think that the changes that Justin made to his model made him the overall winner. He really updated her look and actually did make her look more "hip" or youthful. That was a lot of fun to watch. I would love to see you guys do this again.
Justin's lady is my favorite! She really does look younger, hair full of life and style, and the style and color looks perfect for her!🎉

Thank you Gabi for pulling together this collab! It was fun to watch! Judging is a bit more difficult because, IMO, Summer had the advantage of younger hair that won me over with the great body and dimension in highlights with the end result. And I thought Justin did an amazing job in meeting the challenge of pushing through his low-lites at the risk of his model's resistance to the idea. Yet he pulled it off with subtle low-lites winning over his model's happiness with the results. Where you came out the winner is in the "total makeover" challenge with both hair and make-up. I saw no difference in either of the other two model's before and after in their faces; only their hair. You met the challenge, Gabi, with both a transformation in both hair and make-up. For that reason, I have to award you as the winner in this competition. I hope the challenge was as much fun for the three of you as it was for your viewers.🤗 Much love from Texas.💖
Thank you so much for such a thoughtful comment. All I can say is that the competition was STIFF!!! Justin and Summer are both PHENOMENAL stylists and going up against them was no easy feat. It filled my creativity and friendship bucket way up though and I am so thankful for that.

It was fun watching ya'll do these "do's" simultaneously. If I were to "vote" based on most dramatic I would give the "win" to Justin. I do love the polished looks that you & Summer were able to give your models.
I’d say you one for the best total transformation. Justin for the best technical cut and summer for a color. This should be a television show on cable or UA-cam. This was fun.

I love you all! This was so much fun…but, Justin wins the hair style. I came to this conclusion based on my lifestyle. His result is what I want, flattering every day look and the bonus is it is easy and versatile. I am biased though as am not an up-do kind of gal. Hey Gabi~ I absolutely love what you did for Catherine! The up-do was so fun. The make-up was beautiful. The totality of it was a winner for me.
I did love Justin’s bob on his beautiful model. Then again, I’m contemplating cutting my hair into a bob and appreciated the difference the cut made for her. Though I couldn’t see any benefit to the lowlights - I could not see any change in the color of her hair or impact of it on her face.
Summer’s work was beautiful as it always is.

I absolutely love your makeover, she looks like a model! I see a lot of votes for Justin’s cut, but I think if you had left her hair down, especially given what you started with, you would have won all those votes, regardless IMO, you won hands down! You had the biggest transformation, and also the best! Just found your channel and I can’t stop watching your videos! I love your talent, your humility, your integrity, honesty, and most of all how you genuinely love your followers, and truly want to help them. It broke my heart to watch your “I’m not ok” video. Being a self-employed person in the beauty industry, I know first hand how unbelievably cruel some people can be, and I almost let it ruin my new career before it even got started. I think it hurts so much because I can’t imagine being so mean, and therefore thought, well, it must be true. Fortunately I got past it and continue doing what I love today. I know it’s hard, but please know that you are making a difference in people’s lives, and I hope you stick with it, so long as it’s not at the cost of your happiness. You are likely the most genuine person I’ve seen doing these types of videos and can’t wait to watch more! 🥰

I vote for you Gabi. For me, It was between you and Justin. His cut was great and did the job intended but I feel your model had the biggest transformation without the use of a cut and colour. Your strength is in the makeup and your execution of it. To compliment your clients best parts. She genuinely seemed very happy with and was comfy in her new look. Summer also did a good job. She took the most risk that's for sure.

Fun makeover! Everyone looked so great! I loved Justin's cut and color...perfect for the model. Gabi your makeup was breathtaking and the updo was super fresh. Summer's color was lovely and flattering, although the hairstyle was not my favorite.

These videos were so fun to watch! I loved it! All were great transformations but I loved how you did the Pamela on a more mature model and she rocked it!!! She looked so modern and fresh. I know a lot of comments said Justin's model looked younger but you embraced your model's age and she looked like a fresher version of herself. My vote is Gabi!

Justin's cut style was tremendous BUT, I prefer the long hair on Susie.
Summer's cut style was nice, BUT not that much different than before.
Gabi's style was the most improved. Since we didn't get to see what the model's hair looked like (because it was tied up) the makeup alone made a big change on her model. GABI for the WIN!

NO SLEEP. The anxiety levels were insane. I’ve never felt that in my life and had a serious debrief with my therapist after lol! I put such an insane amount of pressure on myself.
