Mid Evening Westbound BNSF Manifest Rolls Over Broadway Street in Downtown Coal City!!

I was sitting at the Broadway Street crossing in downtown Coal City around 7 pm when this westbound BNSF H-BRCTUL came rumbling past on its way to the Cherokee Yard in Tulsa, Oklahoma from the Clearing Yard in Chicago.
Broadway Street sits at mile post 58.62 on the Chillicothe Subdivision.

Does the H-BRCTUL now use the Chillicothe sub east of Cameron?

Hi there!! I’ve been asked that question a few times now and I still haven’t been able to get a clear answer. I think they swing down the Chillicothe as needed depending on traffic on the Mendota. I’m not really sure about that overall. I’ve heard someone say putting a manifest on the Chillicothe is like putting a donkey in the Kentucky Derby due to the heavy intermodal traffic. If I get an answer I’ll definitely let you know because I’m interested to know too. Thanks for watching!! I appreciate it!!

H-GALNSI to the Mendota sub then.
