And I do not necessarily believe it's a bad thing, he designs clothes, clothes are made to be worn, they can serve many other purposes but no one is bringing out a graphic tee with explicit words to wear for Thanksgiving or a formal event but something like what Lisa wore is permitted in most settings. And I do not necessarily believe it's a bad thing, he designs clothes, clothes are made to be worn, they can serve many other purposes but no one is bringing out a graphic tee with explicit words to wear for Thanksgiving or a formal event but something like what Lisa wore is permitted in most settings. Fashion can be many other things, like art (Iris van Harpen) and sometimes wearable art like Schiaparelli or Giambattista Valli none of them are bad but all of them are functional and serve a purpose. Most fashion critics want avant grande pieces and performative pieces without substance but ridiculously priced.
Finally, I like that Celine has a new audience, they still have pieces that suit their old audience but they have a newer audience of the cool kids who want to experiment with fashion while having functional pieces and Lisa represents that.
