Thanks mate glad you enjoyed it. The water is so shallow they can’t get straight up and down which could cause some serious problems. At least the kayak is easy to see so I won’t lose it. They are probably my favourite big fish to shoot I never get tired of them. Makes it hard now you can only get one because you can pass up a 10kg one and then not see another one. @@Timbuctoo they do like current and bait. Try drifting the outside of Slade in about 13 metres. They can really turn on there at times if it’s not super clear dive about 8 to 10 metres and stay still letting the current drift you and they will swim up to you. They love blue wetsuits and diver’s that aren’t moving much it makes them curious

Not really at least not bad ones but I only spear North Queensland outside the stinger season. In NSW we do get stung by bluebottles occasionally

That bottom is mixed sand and low reef. You don’t think you will get anything but it can be great. I like the dark of the moon through
