Question, as I did maybe a dumb thing: I'm in SLC, UT. Zone five, I think? I do cover crops but I did one this year that was a mix of stuff. A lot of crimson clover. But I do perennials and now I'm concerned as I thought the crimson clover would die off. Apparently it wont? Is the clover going to interfere with my perennials? I've got a cottage garden type setup and its a lot of scatter plot stuff so its hard to pinpoint things.

Just to make sure don't mistake hay with straw. They are completely 2 different thing. Hay is dehydrated. Straw still have moister in them. I had a friend used hay for mulching instead, even over watered the plant. The plant didn't receive much water.
So remember it's straw for mulching can help plant keep the moister, not hay.😂

The mango in India is very common and eaten a lot! they are really tasty you should try to grow some Indian crops like the Indian sweet potato by the way it's not really sweet but it's tasty! and you'll find them in India a lot with some more ingredients wich makes them really REALLY tasty, there's also potatoes normal ones grown to and oranges are really tasty here by the way most are a little bit sour but very nice and juicy! helps a lot in India cause in summer it is very hot!, the most amazing Indian sweet potato dish is cooking it in a pan flip each one for 3 to 4 mins it's above 1 but under 6 and don't forget the Indian chat masala! once you try it it's very addicting and it's so good and tasty!

I have a question.. why do people harvest the way they do? IE: they cut cabbage and what not at the base instead of ripping out the entire root? Wouldn't it be easier to just rip out the entire plant also you can plant something else in it's place? I just find it foolish to just something at the base and leave the root in place in the garden.. to me that's a waste of space now because something is still in the same spot.. I'll never understand that...
