Every emotion can be controlled by consistent practice of meditation which is the power of a monk.Unfortunately you didn't mention meditation in your lecture!!
To a certain degree meditating everyday can give you a objective market view. But it can't help you to control your all emotions. The first thing is you don't need to control your emotions because you can't. you just need a clear understanding of emotions and how it affects your trading performance and then practice for having awareness for those major emotions ( fear, greed , overconfidence,lack of confidence, recklessness) and building cognitive awareness requires practice in live market through losing real live accounts and learning from mistakes until succeed. If you just depend on meditation it not going to help you to build the bulletproof mindset

I fully agree with you.....There are lot of people who thinks monks have only one duty that is meditation..Alas!! Lack of knowledge...They have to control a lot of things ..Look at our Swami Vivekananda A great monk who stabilised Belur Math mentioned about meditation... Founder of every big companies which are ruling the world mentioned about meditation...It is not about the monks ...even it helps you to manifest that eternal power which is already within you ..and which can help you to do anything in this world...But unfortunately some people with small mindset don't practice this properly...And deny it as it is worthless...That's why only 2% of people become successful in this world
If you are in Option, specially Buyer, then remember ' no assumption only momentum' is your friend. Let market to decide where to go and you just follow. Do not worry of entering late, market always gives chance

What I have learned after 26 months of Option buying is - Make a checklist of 5 to 6 preconditions. Study the market by backtesting to find which are these 5 to 6 conditions (in your setup) that were met on super trending days (these supertrend ing days are usually only 2 to 3 in a trading month when market has crazy momentum. This checklist should be pasted in your table where you trade. Everyday just watch the market & start ticking the conditions as & when market meets them. Once all the conditions meet, only then initiate a trade with favourable Risk Reward. Trust me if you do this you will only find trades on 2 to 3 days in a month. In this way, you will automatically start trading the high probability strong momentum set ups only. Just stick to this plan for 3 months & then calculate your ROI, if you are getting 25 to 30% ROI per month, then it's perfectly fine & continue doing same thing over & over again. I did option trading almost daily for the last 26 months & I was on net loss of Rs. 5.86 Lakhs. But with this checklist method, I have started to close last 4 months consistently in Green. I have recovered 80k of my total loss in these last 4 months. So, all those who are facing problems in option buying must try this checklist method.. 👍 It's definitely gonna help.
After 3+ years of options trading I have reached a consistency in my profits after making a very small change in my mindset.... I trade to give a pre defined loss and forget about the outcome.... Thats it.... All your psychology and mindset will allign automatically to make you profitable... Mark my words dont come in market to make profits but to give a small predefined loss to the market based on ur capital... If you follow this, all ur emotions would be taken over by your sub concious mind to make you a natiral successful trader...

Wait for 3-4 swing of 500- 1000 point and when it decays enough, buy it and start new trade. If it goes below 4000 point convert put short into future. And wait. Even if you not convert it in future. 9 month is enough time to recover market. Even during corona time, market recovered with in 9 month. Don't do intraday, even don't touch daily candle. Do option trade trade on weekly and monthly candle. As time passes, and you become experienced, come to daily candle, and 3 monthly, 1 month expiry. In option selling a lot of strategies. Based on intraday, and weekly expiry basis. But if one is beginner and want 99% sure shot profit and 100% peaceful nights, then start with long expiry. And after one year of learning, should do intraday selling.

One night me nifty 1000 point upar neeche ho bhi gayi to mujhe fark nahi padta, agar mere pas 9 monthly expiry ka option hai to. 1000 point upar neeche hone k baad bhi mai hedge kar sakta hu.
