- The barbel season in the Sea of Galilee has already begun.
I get updates that the action was started and decide to jump into a sunset session.
The planning is to arrive at noon until sunset.
What a pleasure to see that all the Sea of Galilee is full of water 😊.
After a few attempts, the first barbel hooked and the 2020 season opens 😊
The fishing action was fish every half hour + - and occasionally two fish one after the other.
Some really chubby and respectable barbels were caught up to 1 kg and most about half kg+🐟 .
Also came out one Jordan barbel that gave good fight for its size.
It was great to open the 2020 season in Sea of Galilee with a very respectable and fun barbels action 🐟.
Most of the fish were caught on the Caperlan lure.
All fish were released safely 👍.

Please excuse my ignorance. I do not know much about barbel fish. It's a pretty fish and gives a good fight, but it looks very similar to a carp. LOL. Peace. 👍🙏🎣⚒

The barbels are a good fighters fish.
It is from the carp family, but more enjoyed fish.
