I have this Bandit shoulder in dark stone, sport blue and I absolutely luvvvv them. Super sleek looking and just big enough for essentials. I take them when I travel too since it is compact. I love that the single strap can quickly be converted back and forth from a shoulder to crossbody. I am not a huge fan of too many straps hanging and love the multi use of the same strap! Thank you.
Thank you for your great review of this bag! Based on your review, I just picked her up in the Denim color. Omg! Totally gorgeous color. I agree, she is on par with luxury. I was intrigued by a comment regarding the Celine Box Bag. I checked her out. At that price point (wow btw) I truly don’t feel bad not waiting for a sale to buy the Bandit. She is totally worth full price in my opinion. Thank you, again!

I definitely like the shoulder bag better! The crossbody size doesn’t fit a whole lot so I use that one on a day when I don’t need too much

Hi! It’s not that heavy honestly - when worn on the shoulder it’s really comfortable! I would say if you wear it crossbody it feels heavier

hey, where did you say you got it? I'm a bit concerned it's counterfeit based on the stitching being so prominent above the C logo on the front of the bag.
Hi! I bought it on Poshmark but I actually checked it compared to one in store and it’s definitely authentic! It was brand new with the tags and dust bag and everything
@@TheGalsGuideBlog If you put it next to your Mint and Serf Bandit, I think you'll see the difference. They don't continue the stitching through the logo on the genuine bags. I am deeply concerned this is a fake (a very good fake!)
@@lamebeef I really appreciate you saying this - I’ve spent the last hour examining this bag next to the other now and that is genuinely the only thing that is not the same. She got this from Neiman Marcus, it came with the receipt and everything. I am wondering if this is a defect? Every single detail on this bag is exact to the one I saw in the store and to my other one - every branding everywhere is exactly the same and the leather is exactly the same
@@TheGalsGuideBlog The things I usually check are for are:
- the font/foiling on the inner stamp where it says genuine full grain leather. Sometimes the font isn't quite right and the foiling is too thin
- the C logo like I mentioned to you
- the hangtag sometimes says 1941 instead of Coach. It should only say Coach
- the dome shape of the side of the bag (I find some fakes look square when you look at them from the side)
- the screws on the inside should be a - style, not a + style (I hope that makes sense).
- I personally find the genuine ones have an almost shiny appearance while fakes look a bit more matte.
I'm in Canada, so our Poshmark listings are a lot more limited, but a woman who has a big following there was selling a fake Bandit bag and didn't even realize it was a fake because it came in on consignment and it had a receipt. Hers had almost everything I listed above and even said "Genuine glovetanned" instead of "genuine full grain". I'm not sure if the receipt was fake, or if the person they got it from had a real receipt and used it to sell a fake bag.
I do think the C logo on your bag is very concerning. I've never seen a genuine Bandit with the logo having stitching like that and I'm not sure how it would happen by mistake, and I wonder if the C logo was popped off if there even is any stitching underneath on genuine bags. I did have a Bandit come to me from the Coach retail site where the glazing (JUST glazing, no stitching) was just a teeny tiny bit exposed in the C, and when I reached out to ask about it, they told me to send it back as defective.
It might be worth reaching out to your local store to see if they have any like yours just in case I'm wrong. It gives me red flags, but hopefully I'm wrong! If you do determine it's fake, you might have some recourse with Poshmark even if you accepted the purchase already. It's illegal to sell fakes and they shouldn't be facilitating those sales!!
@@lamebeef I know this is old, but as soon as I saw the exposed stitching at the start of this video, I was concerned too and came to the comments to look for this. The C placement definitely isn't right :( Did you find out if it was fake?
Do you think creasing with be an issue with the flap? I think that’s the main concern I have. I do want one though
Honestly the leather feels so firm and structured I don’t think it will crease. When you open the flap it doesn’t make any marks, it moves with the opening really well if that makes sense! And the leather isn’t so tight that it wrinkles or anything like that
I have had one since October and used it every day since - very light creasing on the flap. I have noticed more significant creases on the strap, but no cracking. I moisturize it frequently with their moisturizer :)

I didn’t think about the strap. I may switch it out every now and then for maybe a chain strap. Thank you so much, beautiful!!

Hi! I think that if you had a chain strap that clipped onto the grommets on the top that would work! If you slid a strap through the strap would just have to be thick enough to keep the balance
If u remove the coach tag it could be mistaken as celine as c can also stands for celine xD...
