According to neurologist Dr. Ray Dorsey, the cause and rise in number of Parkinson’s is due to exposure to pesticides (e.g. Roundup) and dry cleaning chemicals (PCE, TCE).

I'm thinking PD is brought on by an exposure.

6:13 Average onset is 10 years after movement symptoms, yet, average life expectancy is 7 years?? Does not compute. Is it, 7 years AFTER PDD started?

That is is unclear - Yes, the studies suggest that average life expectancy is 7 years after the dementia symptoms have started in someone with Parkinson's.

@@jameslwest1 Thank you for answering! Can I ask further question? When you say "after the dementia symptoms have started," is that actual dementia, or MCI included? Ty

@@sunahamanagai9039 The studies say after dementia symptoms, which generally doesn't include MCI. However, this is a very individualistic disease and should be closely assessed and monitored by a trusted doctor and consider the whole person. Hope this helps!

Excellent talk, but the disease isn't ParkinGson's, it's ParkiNson's. Many people also call it Parkison's, leaving off the N. But adding a G isn't correct either.
