You feel pain if anyone pinch your cheek. You also don't feel youre forgiven, But you know that youre being forgiven if you know that Jesus died at the cross for your sin. Muhammad died for himself, not for the sin of the world. But Jesus dies for the sin of the world, whoever accept Him as their Saviour.
I am of two minds on this. On the one hand, by the standards of our faith, Brother Ahamada lived and died well. And yet, the sheer injustice and wanton cowardice of it all makes me weep and boils my blood. Jesus truly threw down the gauntlet to us when He called us to pray for our enemies, for it is cases like this that truly make such a call a burden. I pray his death served a greater purpose than simply winning 100+ souls (which, knowing Yahweh, is entirely possible, if not the point). God willing, it will end up saving his own killers (though I am not holding my breath on that count). Brother Ahamada's blood, like that of all martyrs, calls out for justice. And while I harbor no illusions of man's justice raising a finger against the barbarians that slew him, I am comforted in the knowledge that vengeance is the Lord's. God protect his family and his "partner in crime."
According to Jesus, in the gospels, even laying down one's life for the salvation of even just ONE soul is worth the sacrifice. 100+ brings great joy to heaven. Jesus said, IF you truly follow Me, you WILL BE persecuted. I am of two minds on this. On the one hand, by the standards of our faith, Brother Ahamada lived and died well. And yet, the sheer injustice and wanton cowardice of it all makes me weep and boils my blood. Jesus truly threw down the gauntlet to us when He called us to pray for our enemies, for it is cases like this that truly make such a call a burden. I pray his death served a greater purpose than simply winning 100+ souls (which, knowing Yahweh, is entirely possible, if not the point). God willing, it will end up saving his own killers (though I am not holding my breath on that count).
Brother Ahamada's blood, like that of all martyrs, calls out for justice. And while I harbor no illusions of man's justice raising a finger against the barbarians that slew him, I am comforted in the knowledge that vengeance is the Lord's.

According to Jesus, in the gospels, even laying down one's life for the salvation of even just ONE soul is worth the sacrifice. 100+ brings great joy to heaven. You're correct in that Justice WILL be served 'in the end', when God judges the Living (believers who He saves) AND the Dead (those who will be cast into the Lake of Fire at the Second Death)

In Revelation John said he saw the souls of those beheaded fr their testimony crying out to God to avenge them of their enemies but were told to be patients for others who would be killed like them from earth to join them.
