I'll have to disagree, of course they were built down to a price, they were the cheapest car in the range at the time, but folk would not customise them if the base car was no good in the first place. The make of the legendary DS cannot be simply be described as "not very good"...
These are shit cars. Made on the cheap. Just so happens it entered crash tests and didnt do too bad. Still made on a shoestring budget. French cars are not very good.
