in the frenetic pace of entertainment art it's really nice to have people who remind us to slow down and appreciate the process and the subject. thanks as always jeremy!
Firstly, you ARE good at talking and painting at the same time. Better than most! And a suggestion (which might not be practical?)... from the viewers perspective it would be lovely to have a few shots where you cut to us watching over your shoulder while you paint, or seeing you sitting in that place with that amazing view, to give us the feeling of being there, and how the light changes as you paint. Always a delight to see your work Jeremy, thank you!
Watching this video was so relaxing and peaceful. You achieved so much in 30mins but it doesn’t feel rushed. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and skills, I am learning so much.
You have elevated me to a wonderful new world of light. Thank you so much! Also, I love how you said hello to folks passing by while you were recording.
I just discovered your UA-cam channel 3 days ago and I’m devouring the content. I’m retired, resumed oil painting 3 years ago after a 40+year gap, am in love with using strong lighting in my paintings - and I’m in Washington and LOVE to paint the landscapes near me so this one really hits all the buttons! Thank you!!!
AWESOME! I keep learning SO much from you! Your art class is beyond amazing also. I am so glad I can work at my own pace because the level of depth you teach at is Master level. Another WOW video. I honestly don't think people realize you are making these. If they knew, they would be beating down the doors.
I was surprised to find out you have a 25 year career because you look like that would mean you started your career when you were born. Your videos are great.
I'm so happy for what you are doing Jeremy. I honestly believe you are the best at what you do, and I love your attitude and spirit of sharing. Keep educating and inspiring us.
So beautiful. I've been studying and watching your videos and I'm quite happy with my progress. Im using an iPad abd Procreate too. Thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge with us
This was so incredibly cool to see! As someone with a background in traditional landscape painting I have missed being able to do things like this with all the digital work I do. This is a wonderful idea to improve an artist's eye in general but also to improve digital painting skills! Thank you for making this video, it's reminding me why I love to paint. I can't wait to try this on my next hike!
love your video! I like pleinair painting (oils) and thanks to some of your earlier vids I started to paint with procreate and the terp brush!😉 (it helped me A LOT with values and I even made a short-playlist of my first 100 procreate sketches) Now I just have to put 1+1 together and take my Tablet for plein air painting 🏔️🧑🎨
Beautiful work! If the reflections on the glossy iPad screen are bothering you, try a matte screen protector by Paperlike. It makes the screen less slippery also and gives a feeling like you are drawing on paper :) I have one on my iPad Pro and it's made drawing more pleasant. Thanks for the all the advice and knowledge you share, amazing content!
This is amazing Jeremy, you're motivating me to try plenair painting. The one thing I don't understand is how do you paint something that is no longer there 🤔
I wonder how would you create the fog atmospheric yellowish on the left, after the shadowed trees, if this was an oil painting? I always struggle with this in plein air. The atmospheric bits that rise from the ground up early morning.
I used the record screen button on the ipad which does not record audio sadly. I have an external audio recorder (Tentacle Sync Track E) and shot the wider video using a DSLR on a tripod. I then had to sync the audio to both videos in my editing program to pull them all together.

Beautiful. I find digital painting much different than traditional media as colors are selected, or picked, not mixed. Your work is so impressive.

I love how you added in that warm glow it made me wonder what the process would be like if you were painting on canvas
yeah. do you ever look at old oil paintings and see those glow effects? no idea how that's accomplished. masterful artistry.
Wat brush(es) did u use. Please make more of these videos. Very soothing and got to learn alot
sheesh lesgoo
I wonder how would you create the fog atmospheric yellowish on the left, after the shadowed trees, if this was an oil painting? I always struggle with this in plein air. The atmospheric bits that rise from the ground up early morning.
I would like to see you us real paint and canvas. To do a Truly Traditional plein air, painting.
Do you bring bear spray or anything when you go out to do these wonderful paintings?
Hello! Can I please ask what app you use to record your voice and drawing process at the same time? This painting is beautiful!!

I'll give this a try. This felt like something Bob Ross would do if he had access to Procreate ❤
