The gun was a Colt 1851 Navy. It was only used in TGTBadTU. Fistful and For A Few used a Colt SAA with a 5 12" barrel. The only nit picky thing I have is the holster is not rough out leather and the buckle is incorrect. I can also see what you mean about the hat being a disappointment, being plastic and not being removable. I live in Carmel CA and Clint was the Grand Marshall for the 2016 Centennial Parade. He rode on the Wells Fargo stage wearing the hat from Unforgiven, the shirt from High Plains Drifter, the Andy Anderson holster and of course the poncho from the trilogy. I've been a fan since my childhood in the 60's and it was pretty amazing to see him in that context.
I can’t believe they never made the hat removable, or come with another head without the hat. Why they didn’t put the Colt SAA and Henry rifle is beyond me. Could have put in the pocket watch, and the furnace door. Maybe even the other outfit he wore in TG,TB,ATU. And really lucky to see him dressed up! Did he do a good job in that position? Hope they make more of his characters! And maybe some John Wayne figure’s too!
I am so excited for you to finally have you're most beloved character as a big boi figure! He looks amazing and man that headsculpt! It is a bit if a bummer he doesn't come with an extra gwad but this is awesome! You really did a great job with the review and editing on this one! You can just hear your excitement haha. Grat job man I'm really excited for you to have him!
The head sculpt is slightly off to me. The Dirty Harry and The Palerider sculpts are spot on and look great. This one though not quite there but still a wonderful figure to have.
Great review and thanks for sharing. I think the headsculpt likeness is little bit off, the rest of this series from SideShow(Pale rider and Dirty Harry) are better in likeness.
After a few days of having it, it does seem that way. I feel like they tried to combine a variety of expressions into one head and this is what they came out with. But it still looks good and it gets the job done.
The holster on your figure looks too large, on a video on UA-cam showing Clint visiting the place where these figures are made, it shows a smaller holster with the barrel of the Navy Colt protruding out of the bottom of the holster, as in the movie. On your figure, and on some other pictures on the internet, even when the Navy Colt is holstered, the end of the barrel isn’t visible.
A lot of people share that opinion. And having for some time now i see why but i think having it in hand is a different experience too. The best way i can explain this head sculpt is that they tried to mix or incorporate a variety of Clint Eastwoods facial expressions into one, and i think that's why the likeness is not entirely there.
Why did you say that he is not the same character as in fistful of dollars and for a few dollars more? He has the same cloths, cigar and beard and gun with the cobra and has no name. Don't overthink this.
The director said this himself. He never intended for him to be the same person and each movie was separate from each other. He dressed the same way everyone assumed it was the same person. He also goes by different names in the first two movies and in the Good the Bad and the Ugly he has no name.
I believe what the director actually meant was lost in translation from Italian to English. He said the movies were not intended to be in historical sequence. But how can they not be or why would they not be the same character if he is dressed the exact same way? As a matter of fact in for a few dollars more, he wore that gauntlet on his right hand to take the place of the bandages after his hand was stomped on in a fistful of dollars. Also if you look closely, you can see in 'for a few dollars more', the bullet holes in his poncho that he received in 'fistful of dollars' are sewed up. He is wearing the poncho backwards and the sewed up holes are on the back side now. Saying that Clint is not the same guy in his 3 movies is like saying al Pacino is not the same guy in the 3 godfather movies. A little trick that directors like to do is to leave a little mystery to your own interpretation.
@@francorepici3586 i understand Clint Eastwood portrayed and wore the same things throughout the movies but as stated previously the director intended each film to be separate from each other. The use of actors from previous movies is another hint that they do not follow a timeline. Clint wore the same thing due to budgeting so small details are expected to be seen in the later movies like the bullet holes being fixed. Him acting the same in terms of movements and all that, its a style that Clint kept and the way that the director wrote the character(even Lee Van Cleef is seen wearing similar attires through out his movies, doesn't mean it's the same character). Clint on many occasions stated that he hated smoking but Leone insisted on the character to smoke. There are many interviews where the director and clint stated that it was a different character in each movie, and no it's not a translation error. It was actually the United States that promoted the movies as The Man with no Name which led to some people thinking of it as the same character. I'm just sticking to what the director/people involved intended the movies to be like. I can also see that some people would rather place the movies in some form of timeline but I'll see them as 3 separate stories because that is how the movies were planned from the beginning.
He is not the same person in his three movies? If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, sounds like a duck and acts like a duck, well, low and behold, it must be a duck.
With the exception of the Dirty Harry one, they really don't look all that great imho.. This one has a face that doesn't even remotely begin to resemble Clint Eastwood. Low effort.
Like I mentioned to someone else in the comments. I think they tried to combine a lot of his different facial expressions into one head which makes him look a bit odd. But from certain angles it looks fine and having him in hand also changes. I initially thought he had a rather long face when pre orders went up but having it in hand looked better. They could have done better and I'm disappointed in myself for not mentioning it in my video

That's a very neat thing to experience throughout your life! And thanks for the bit of history with the gun

Nice review. Thank you! I bought one of these.
Great figurine. They need to bring out a Tuco and Angel Eyes.
Will they make a high plains drifter figure holding a bull whip? That would be so cool.
Maybe in the future we'll see more of his different roles brought to action figure form
The detail on his Revolver is amazing
My dream figure right there.
Wow that looks amazing dude!
Thanks for tuning in! Had fun with this video!
What's going on with the face who did they use for resemblance

Thanks a ton man. Had a lot of fun putting this together!❤️
I agree My German boi
Great figure I have dirty Harry and I'm on the waiting list for Blondie
Awesome! He's worth the wait
Amazing Figure! Get 3 coffins ready!
Got mine today. Incredible figure. Body is a bit cheap. My left foot is just like yours and falls easely.
Yes the body is bit to be desired. I forgot to mention that I wish they would have painted his arms because the sleeves dont cover his arms
The figure is Fabulous but i still think the Face isnt right.
Nice! I would like to see a tribute piece made for The Outlaw Josey Wales.
The head sculpt is slightly off to me. The Dirty Harry and The Palerider sculpts are spot on and look great. This one though not quite there but still a wonderful figure to have.
Extraordinario!!!
Great review,I've got Dirty Harry & I'm definitely having that figure 👍
Thanks for watching! He's great highly recommend him. I would buy other Clint Eastwood figures but they are pricey but maybe some day.
Great review and thanks for sharing.

Sorry but I don’t think it’s the best likeness of him. In my opinion .

Oh, and his mannerisms are the same too. The twirling cigar he does with his mouth in all his movies is a dead give away.
