this song is so bittersweet to me because of the circumstances that I first discovered it and the subsequent events that followed. Every time I listened to it I felt a little twinge in my heart. I associated this song with a certain memory which involved a certain someone that, as much as I want to forget, would persist in my mind. I wish I could forget them and these memories but it also hurts to completely erase that time from my life. Sometimes I wish that none of it had ever happened so that I wasn't so attached but deep down I know that I was truly and wholeheartedly happy when I was with them. It's just that it ended really badly and now I can't help but still hate and love them at the same time.
I also have a bittersweet attachment to this song about someone I couldn't have but still hold onto. Part of me wishes it never happened but part of me is also glad it did. The love and hate is so real, as well as a a bunch of conflicting feelings in between. I believe this song captures that perfectly.
