One of my goals for 2025 is to use the library more, as well. I did some research and the Montreal library network as about 50 books which are on my TBR but that I don't currently own, so I could potentially borrow them from our network. Let us know how you do with that.
Hello !! I use libby, which is a free app. You can connect the Montréal Library on it, it's super easy. I would also recommend the BanQ, it's downtown, a free library. I think they have a better selection. The only problem with the libby app doesn't connect with a kindle (if you have one), but it does work on ipad/phone/etc. I also listen to a lot of audiobooks from the library, but I also pick up some physical books sometimes :)

I thought I couldn't use Libby with the Montreal library? I will look into it.
