The one thing i love about the deathwatch is how you can almost endlessly customize them to the point that each is their own hero and has their own story. And you don't have to limit yourself to the theme of one space marine chapter.
As much as I love most of the new beautiful (and practical!!) Warhammer sculpts, I do miss modular kits where you could easily give your army a really personal feel by adjusting the posture and kits of your miniatures. Really happy to see you guys seemingly feeling the same way and providing the knowledge and resources needed to bring that awesome feeling of customization back into a new era of the hobby.
Black templars are a good chapter to make unique models. Love giving each of my black templars models their own unique character and personality to them.
I'm the same way with my Space Wolves army. I just wish more data-sheets supported options for sergeants. I recently built a Heavy Intercessor with a power axe, looks great, but not exactly WYSIWYG. Also by kit-bashed Leviathan terminator captain had an index compliant thunder hammer but became invalid with the release of the SM codex.
A nice video. Personally, I use a combination of kitbashing, and painting on my Space Marines. The Black Templars Primaris Crusader Sqaud's Initates make for an excellent base for kitbashing Sternguard Veterans, for example. Just source any bolt rifles from, say, the Intercessor squad.

Those Deathwatch at the start were awesome, would love to see Adam (and the other hosts) talk more about their personal collections on the channel
Adam is great. Such a calm soul.

That camo pattern looks amazing. Reminds me of German flecktarn! Can argue you can use the same pattern for Astra militarum troops/vehicles
The Bob Ross voice of Warhammer. Thank you for this video!
Ha! That's great. He does have a very pleasant voice.

I was blown away by the deathwatch on warhammer community, nice to see the person behind it!
Super informative 🎉
That camo is lit ! Looks like some sort of flecktarn but could also be on the exoskeleton of a crustacean.
Where can we find the video of Ollie's converted Orks?
The Terminator Ancient is pretty good. Interesting to see how people go about it, since there’s no official model anymore
Nice to have a look at your miniature collection, thank you 👌🫶
Jormungandr is best choice for Tyranids 🖤💛
Great video keep up this style
Would love to see more of this, exploring the custom armies people build. Videos are great by the way but your audio seems really off and very muted.
