@evample can you do in depth Kbm air dribble tutorial all the ones out there aren’t to in-depth and they tend to kind of wonder off subject… btw loving the videos keep up the great work
Nice tutorial and info. However, another one going more in depth on the actual controls and things like circle-indicator of the ball would be lovely too
Seriously to me you’re the best dribbler and I highly look up to being as good as you it’s really hard but I just go based off what I see you do and sort of get it sometimes. Would love to see another tutorial
No hate, love the videos. But this was less of a tutorial and more of a ‘I go for these shots a lot’ which anyone that watches you already knows. Would be good to go into a bit more depth on some of the mechs
Getting insight into your reasoning/learning process is a lot more useful than a lot of the tutorials out there saying stuff like "first jump then hold stick down right while air roll right". Like that's helpful, but how and why and wtf. If you do another one of these going further in depth with the reasoning or thought process stuff would be super helpful :) Ur an inspiration
Ayo Evample , I love your videos , I wondered if you can create a quick tutorial for mkb for a simple stuff that at least I can not find a good guide on UA-cam for . anyways thank you so much for your lovely videos , keep it up !!
You're my biggest inspiration for Rocket League. I don't care who might do any shot/mechanic better than you. I've always loved your style, the flow to your games, and how you play when you're tryharding. I won't be able to do any of this stuff for another 1-3k hours, but you help my motivation a lot. Thanks for always being the best, Evample! ♥
I like the editing @ThatsFinn. It's hard to compare the difference in editing since this is also different content, but the music was a bit different and I like the blatant content description, like the lowercase introduction to "chapters" of the video, gives me pulse fire vibes (a good thing, but it also still unique cause of the content of the video and font.
Heyo! Got an idea for a tutorial, I'm pretty curious how you incorporate air roll left/right(bound to Q/E) in your movements, since it's hard to pick them up after using exclusively shift for so long. Maybe a few useful moves that would kind of introduce them to then be able to use 'em freely.
Just put air roll as your side buttons on your mouse or something, try random keys until you find something you like, taking effort to get better will get u better, not asking someone how and where to use air roll. Just put time into it every now and then and u will see a difference soon, had to break a few habits I did, after I broke them I went to gc2 and I was hard stuck c3, and my mechanics got hella better from it
Great comments here, adding to it, once you have set up your bindings, to learn how to fly while air rolling, try flying with your car pointing up (dont lose control) and constantly air rolling. You're gonna flop around at first but you'll get an understanding of how flying works. Then go on a rings map or the pillars map and try to navigate by tornado spinning, and/or using SD (if you are using ARL) and AS (if you're using ARR). Then it's all up to practice. Try to learn flying with the opposite direction as well (ARR + SD, and ARL + AS).
Honestly have so much respect gotta be one of the few players out there that freestyle at the highest ranks that's why I rate you so much keep it up evample ❤️
thank you a lot for these, amazing help really. for future ones, breakdown/input explanation of some of the popular fancy dashes not necessarily most efficient ones would be great :3
Great video! I’d be interested in u shedding some more light on the entrance into the wave dash flick. Like are you boosting to help you rotate your car and catch up before you wave dash?
I would like to see a kickoff tutorial (speed flip) for KBM and also for dribbling part 2, I would appreciate knowing the basics of dribble first, like how to keep the ball on top of the car as long as possible.
if you play on PC, I highly recommend playing dribble challenge maps. While it may seem weird bc you need to know how to do it to beat those maps, it is just sort of a training thing. I used to not be able to keep it on my car for 5 seconds, but now I am improving very much at that, as well as flicks, just from playing the maps that force me to get better at it if I wanna beat them. My main tip aside from how to practice, is this: boost is NOT needed. you can keep the ball on your car without using any boost at all. Boost should be thought of as a way to correct mistakes in control. I highly recommend practicing this, because you will gain so much control in your games. being able to slow dribble and wait for your opponent to challenge, and then flicking them, is a very good tactic. If you use too much boost/dribble too fast, you will just be bringing the ball closer to them and make it easier for them to challenge you. best of luck m8.
@Pengu same bro kbm it's easier to flip because of wasd being given straight forward directions front back left and right pretty accurate where as a thumbstick minor adjustments have to be made to go in specific directions
Know what I’d love to see? A documentary by Wayton or someone on you and how you went from where the majority of us are right now? To a god in the freestyle community
Freestyle coaching series lets go. I am a co sole Player so no kbm but as a cs/starcraft veteran i must have say it that kbm is always superior than controller. There is one mayor factor that everybody seems to miss in controller/kbm wars. On kbm u can use almost all of your fingers, when on controller it is 6 fingers Total(only if u use controllerncorrectly, i know a lot of PPL who use only thumbs and indexes- 4 fingers) Nice video bro.
This was great! Hope we get another at some point. If you don't feel like you can make another maybe rewatch this tutorial in 3-6 months and think about how you would do it different at that time.
I can spin dribble to the LEFT but the right aint no way and my backwards dribbling is doodoo. Def some cool stuff to work on. The way I learned how to spin dribble was by just figuring out where the ball wants to be as I enter the spin and then managing my boost while switching between W+A and S+D. Eventually controlling the ball kinda just clicked although It's still bad. Something that helped my control with Q and E for aerials a ton was by trying to learn how to infinitely airdribble. I still can't do it without some mutators and I can do it with the normal gravity/ball settings if I set my game speed to like .13 with bakkes. After practicing that airdribble control I was able to consistently get into GC and I had found that it improved my recovery of all things. Great video! Thank you for all the effort you put into it.
I'm not considered a pro by any means but simply just playing the game and practicing in my free time helps so much and my goal is to one day become a freestyle master like urself, pulse fire, JZR, etc. 💪💯🔥
Umm some tips on these things: Do slow-motion to see what buttons you press and also what are your binds... you use E to drift and SHIFT to air-spin ? Im confused
Is it possible to do speed flip tutorial? I have 1600 hours and i couldnt figure out how to do speed flip with Q and E keys like you, so i was forced to learn it with SHIFT key.
just do a diagonal flip with w and q/e then slide the finger that is on W to S all while still keeping the other finger on the air roll key edit: I also have a speed flip tutorial for kbm but it's kinda old and I don't do that version anymore but the "type 2" speed flip in the video would be for you as it does not required the shift key
Holy shittt I love this, I’m diamond and I can almost hit a 360 dribble every time… I was always okay at dribbling, but this just unlocked something in my head…. As soon as I started hitting them. I went from only being able to dribbling half the field…. Now I can walk back and forth a couple times, jumping, side dashing AND THE BALL IS STUCK I would definitely recommend practicing it, and try to stick with till you can do one 360…. I promise it’s just make’s something click in you
I'll do a part 2 of this dribble guide if wanted! 25k likes = part 2, Very cool.
how do you put your fingers to press w, d and e at the same time or q, a and w? thanks :)
nice
