O the illuminated candle of beauty, flowers and colours,
O the the candle lit on the beautiful ravines of mountains,
O the magician, standing on the terrace of newly acquired youth,
O the new song of love in the heart of the poet:
Agreed that you are not acquainted with many of the joys of life,
And not aware of the colors of this new life,
Agreed that you may have many defficiencies in life,
Agreed that you may be worried about many things,
Agreed that you may be craving for many of the charms in life,
Agreed that you may be craving for many of the gates of the people,
Agreed that many of the houses in your village are coverd by dark,
Agreed that your dress is a little untidy and old,
But you are not aware of the beauty sprouting out of your youth,
And you are not aware of the decency of your culture.
Here,you are the muzziness of the bitter water of grapes,
Here you have perfect freedom to do and enjoy anything to your liking,
You are playing flute and hurling whistles as you walk through the fields,
And even dance in the streets whenever you so desire,
Not wary of the good or bad, sins and virtues,
You are so innocent, natural and pure.
Whatever you have heard of the modern life,
These are lies, lies and plain lies told to you.
This life is nothing but a monster, a persecution and panic,
It is fraud, dishonesty and betrayal,
Minds are the factories of superstitions, and
Heads are the abodes of giants and ghosts.
Thoughts are as lifeless as these tar made roads,
Concerns seems to be the stores of cement and iron bars,
Youthful life has a worth only when money is earned,
Success of adults is assessed on the scale of bankbalance,
Friendship is marred by selfeshness,
Relationships are woven around personal benefits,
Dignity is not valued more than a second hand coat,
The price of manhood is no more than a hundred Ruppees note,
Honour is no more than a commodity sold for a penny,
Yes honesty is sold relatively for a better price.
It makes me very down whenever I recall them here,
My healed up wounds get refresh,
My modesty get warmed like blood in the veins,
And the feeling of helplessness resurge like heat rashes.
If you have any influence over me, please help me reborn for you,
Help me to be grateful for sacrificing this new life for you,
Fetch me any leftover water of grapes,
And get my blood purified with this bitter taste water,
Get my scattered wounds gathered into your makeup moles,
Make the wounds of my heart to be the seam of
your torn up frock,
Let me get adorned with the evening prayers of these mountains,
Help me spread on these trails and grow as cannabis on these water channels.
Help me lay my life for you and be the apple of your eyes,
And be the part of the ravines of these beautiful mountains.

such a beautiful song was already obsessed with pashto music since the day I started listening manam chi 1 and it eventually became a part of my playlist , there was a time when I just used to hear pushto songs very rarely in weddings but now you've just changed the game for us pushtoons I was a die heart arjit singh and shafqat amanat ali fan but now every song I get to listen to yours feels like being born again and yeahh now urdu or english songs don't touch my soul that much because your songs you compositions .... matlabbb every time you make me think like koi itna acha kaisay gaa sakta hai har lanuage main guman , duniya , fursatain , manam chi 1 and 2 and every other song you sang made me proud that I'm a pushtoon and now we can tell the world kay pathan gussay walay nahi hotay sirf we are the most loving people out there we are proud of our culture and we celebrate it ... tasooo awaz derrr derrr derre khukulay de rora ... and plz make more ghani khan songs and urdu songs as well 🤍
