hi im new to iclone and 3d modeling (only around 2 weeks) and I love your vids I hope to take much inspiration from you in my own animations. I also cant wait for more of your video's
thanks a mill for your response..
Excellent. Thank You, Adolf. Your work is both humbling and inspiring.
Thank you! Nice to know it can help :-)
Very helpful Video .
Thank you very much :)
Good work thanks
Sir, I am from India and I am inspired by your videos. Thanks. Waiting for more tutorials on how to make stunning effects with hitfilm and iclone...
Thank you, good to know that my works can inspire people around the world... :-)
This is great. I'll try to use hitfilm in the iclone animations for my channel.
OUTSTANDING 🔥
You r right !!! But we will need more more tutorials between iclone and hitfilm !!!
As usual you are once again awesome, inspirational, progressive and informative. Love this thanks once again for showing us more Iclone possibilities!
Thank you! Glad to know that these videos can inspire you :-)
Awasome ..More tutorial Please ..
Simply awesome! I'm just getting into Iclone 6 (I bought it a week ago and saving already for 7) and all this is simply too much ^.^ I love Star Wars (a lot of that has been shown here) so this is more than inspiring to make my own SW scene :) Thank you!
Glad to inspire you :-) Maybe you'll find interesting this website where you could find cool free 3DModels related with Star Wars and other SciFi series. Just to mention you'll need 3DXchange to convert them into iClone. www.scifi3d.com/list.asp?intGenreID=10&intCatID=4
Thank you so much ^.^ Wasn't expecting something like that to exist at all! Definitely interesting :)
Beautiful work. Do you have a tutorial on creating those awesome ocean and beach scenes? The water flowing across the sand is very impressive.
Thanks! The water is real footage. I just added the iClone models in several layers of Hitfilm creating the final compositing. The tricky part is to put the boats in the real water. The splashes in the hull and the trail are iClone particles linked to the boat. You can take a look of this polycount forum thread where I explain how I did it in the Auria video that I made acouple of years ago... polycount.com/discussion/153508/rgca-best-one-minute-movie-best-use-of-iclone-adolf
I can think of more then 5 reasons :-) nice video
Ha ha ha... Yes! There are many reasons to use iClone & Hitfilm together, but it was created to be published and I had to follow the script... ;-)
i know ;-)
wow
u r amaze
Unfortunately there is no tutorial how I can use hitfilm in iclone. I mean the opposite way. one would have to be able to use a composition of hitfilm in iclone. do you have an idea please?
iClone and Hitfilm are complementary applications. It's not that one works for the other. In iClone you can easily do 3d animations and using Hitfilm you can easily add postproduction effects with professional quality. Usually, postproduction is the last step in the creation of a film sequence, where all the layers previously rendered, (in this case using iClone), are merged and edited, adding effects like motion blur, volumetric lights, flares or particles in order to get the final aspect. In any case, you always can use a video sequence rendered in Hitfilm as a texture, background or in a popVideo billboard of iClone. Hope it will help you. :-)
Can I use the old FX home software? Hit film was fxhome was it not? This was awesome.
Yes! FX Home is the company that makes and sells Hitfilm.. I did the video long time ago with the Hitfilm 3 Pro version. Obviously the last Pro versions have more tools and features, but you can use any version, even the free Express version, that comes with a lot of interesting features like motion track and advanced chroma key tools.
such a good tutorial example your own technique modeling, compositing etc.. ..make more pls.! .iam big fan of your channel..regards from bali island..why so low subscribe.? never mind, i subscribe for your channel..
Thanks for your comments… Sadly, I don’t have too much time to make tutorials, and even less time to promote the channel, he he he... Maybe that’s the reason for the few subscribers but I don’t care about that… Happy to know that my ideas can encourage you to create great animations… By the way... Beautiful place where you are living... :-)
tyvm for reply..if wish you, family and relatives got vacation in Bali, just let me know, iam very happy to assist you Bali..regard
Thanks for your invitation... Good to know I have a friend in Bali! :-)
you are very welcome..iam that honor have a online guru like you..best thing is very humble one
can we get a tutorial
on composting real footage with iclone characters?
I'm sorry but at the moment I have literally no time to make a tutorial. Just a couple of tips... Use the real footage as video background for your iClone project, so you could match the iClone characters movements with the background, but when rendering, hide the background video first, and render the shot as a sequence of PNG images. In this way iClone will include automatically an alpha channel to the PNGs leaving them ready to be composited in Hitfilm as a layer.
Wow I like use hit film
oh good
Tell me use Crazy Talk Animator v3 too. That would about cover everything possible
Certainly why not? Crazy Talk Animator 2D cartoons can be used as a compositing layer in Hitfilm. It opens a lot of possibilties for 2D animations. :-)
I was joking -- I use all 3 myself
can you get in trouble if you use models from 3D warehouse
Each model of 3d warehouse specifies if it can be downloaded and its terms of use. In any case this tutorial is quite old and I don't use 3d warehouse models any more. They have very bad meshes and sketchup duplicates the faces of the models making them very annoying to work with. It was just an example of how easy is to import models into iClone, even the bad ones from 3d warehouse.
Please, i Need to know one thing, is Hitfilm a free software?
Hi, Hitfilm has a free version called Hitfilm Express, obviously it doesn't have all the features of the Pro version but it even includes motion track, advanced chroma key and particle effects, so it's an oustanding tool to start working professional VFX. The Pro version is under 300$, more than reasonable price, considering all that you get.
most of the models that look real are from daz studio not iclone
i clone can do things other 3d software cant its a great program
iClone models are intended to be animated. DAZ models are just for static poses. The number of polygons used in DAZ models is insane and eats your computer resources. Nevertheless, iClone new CC characters are very close in aspect to the current DAZ models.
I Liked IClone First Time But I Don't Like It Anymore Really. Because Once I Knowed That You Can't Import 3D Models and + You Can't Export 3D Models Also And + The Program Is Kind Of Buggy With Dark Color.
Well... To import and export models in iClone, you need 3DXchange, also supplied by Reallusion. Although iClone7 is going to allow fbx exportation. In any case if you have purchased the models in the Reallusion Store, be sure to buy the export license. (I little more expensive). If you have created the models in a 3D tools, there is no restriction to import or export in 3DS, OBJ and FBX formats. Using 3DXchange you can import directly into iClone all the free Google SketchUp models too.
All I can say is, Dammmmm
